The doctor was kind enough to guide Mingyu through everything he needed to know.

Apparently, Wonwoo had Meningitis since he was a kid and due to his parents' financial situation, he couldn't afford the full treatment nor keep up with the medicine he was prescribed. His grand parents were too old to remember or to catch up with what the doctors said and by the time Wonwoo grew up, he learned many ways how to hide his pain ... and been hiding it ever since he met Mingyu too.

The doctor stayed for a few hours until Wonwoo seemed to be gaining a little more focus.

"Have you been having dizzy spells lately?" The doctor asked, occupying a small space next to Wonwoo's bed while Mingyu sitting right by his side.

He nodded

"Oh baby since when?" Mingyu asked, his voice full of worry

"Since forever" ... "I'm sorry Mingyu, I'm really sorry"

"You've been through so much and I should have noticed earlier ... I'm so sorry" Mingyu leaned over to collide his forehead with Wonwoo's.

"I just wanted to give us time, I didn't want you to worry, I didn't want to be a burden"

"You're definitely not a burden to me Wonwoo, I care about you so much, I'll make sure you're okay ... I'll get you the treatment you need okay?"

Wonwoo shook his head "I'm used to it, it'll pass, it always does"

"I recommend you take the treatment Wonwoo, this will have extreme long term effects if you don't, you should treat it while it's still an option"
The doctor advised and Wonwoo felt his insides twist again

"Baby please, I want you to get better" Mingyu pleaded, he was sincere and wanted nothing but for Wonwoo to get better.
Wonwoo's eyes suddenly started to water holding back some really painful tears.

"I love you" Mingyu confessed "Please"

The omega was weak and tired, meeting Mingyu was the best thing that ever happened to him and he didn't want his sickness to get in the way ... he nodded

"Okay, I'll get the treatment"

Mingyu couldn't be happier but he knew that this won't be easy on neither one of them. He listened when the doctor told him more about Wonwoo's condition, the process of the treatment, what to expect and so on and it didn't sound so good. Mingyu was worried, Wonwoo was still too weak and the Alpha wondered if he'll be able to handle all the stress and the needles?

"We will start slow and keep a close eye on you, the first couple of days might be tough but they will pass before you know it"

Wonwoo was scared and Mingyu couldn't hide his worried expressions but Wonwoo nodded and Mingyu was so proud of how brave his Omega.

"You'll be just fine and I won't leave you for a second" Mingyu promised and Wonwoo whimpered a little before burring his head in Mingyu's chest. The Alpha caressed his soft hair and brought him closer "You'll be just fine" he promised over and over again.

It's been a little over a week.
Wonwoo was exhausted.

The continuous trips to the hospital, the many doctors, the tests, the needles, the treatment ... he was absolutely wrecked.

Mingyu parked the car at their front door where Jeonghan was waiting for them like he always does. The Alpha got out first and run to the other side to open the passenger seat door for Wonwoo.
