Wonwoo was laying on a bed struggling to keep his eyes open. Everything seemed to be calm and quiet, the room was mildly cold, the white walls and the white sheets made him feel much more relaxed ... or was it the effects of the clear liquid going through his vains?

Wonwoo blinked, his eyes falling beyond what the white hospital walls offered him and his mind went for miles upon miles overthinking about everything that's been happening. He felt exhausted, like his body was a pile of rocks sinking into the mattress, but this wasn't his bed so he wasn't really comfortable enough to actually  sink into it.

He was brought here about an hour ago, they said he fainted during class but he doesn't remember. Mingyu is going to flip out ... where is he by the way? The nurse said they called him about twenty minutes ago, he should be here by now, Wonwoo needs him right now ... he himself wasn't sure about what happened, and there wasn't much he could do but to wait for the test results.

His breaths were steady but tired, he just focused on not falling back to sleep again, that's what the doctor said "Try not to fall back to sleep, you need to stay awake for a while, let the fluids flush away the dizziness" and he was right, they were working, he wasn't as dizzy as before but still too tired to move.

It's been a while, he doesn't know how long exactly but finally, finally the door opened and Mingyu appeared. Wonwoo heaved a heavy sigh the second he saw him. Mingyu looked worried, he glanced from the door like he was making sure he was in the right room and simply run to Wonwoo and knelt right by his bed side.

"Are you okay?" He sounded urgent "What happened, you were fine this morning, I don't understand" his hands shaking, traveled from holding Wonwoo's hands to touching his flushed cheeks to his neck ... to checking every inch of him

"Humm ... I'm okay"

Mingyu frowned, Wonwoo sounded drowsy, weak and exhausted "I'm better"

Mingyu's breaths got stuck in his throat for a second "You don't sound like it, please" holding both of Wonwoo's hands into his own, begging him to be okay "Please tell me what's wrong? where does it hurt? I'll fix it, I'll make it better"

Wonwoo held into Mingyu's hands tightly "They drew some blood" Wonwoo informed blinking weakly "They said they'll do some tests and let me know if ... I'll need more tests"

Mingyu was worried sick, his hands brushing over Wonwoo's cheeks "You'll be okay I'm sure, it's probably just stress right? You've been stressed out lately, so much to do and little time to do it, remember? You told me that"

"Yes, I know"

"With classes, the internship, our parents watching over our backs, it's been a lot to take in ... right?"

Wonwoo nodded a little "Right"
He thought that admitting to what Mingyu wanted to hear might make him feel better but it only made him feel worse because Wonwoo lied and he never lies, not to Mingyu anyways.

Mingyu's heart was racing, Wonwoo wasn't feeling all himself lately.

There was no way denying that even Mingyu knew. His bubbly fiancé was tired and exhausted almost all the time and would fall asleep on the couch at the end of the day while they were just talking.

Mingyu leaned over to peck his forehead "We'll be okay .... Can I have a kiss?" Wonwoo smiled nodding slightly and feeling the way Mingyu's lips brushed softly against his. Pulling away, Mingyu had this look on his face "I'll go have a quick talk with the doctor and be right back okay?"

Wonwoo closed his eyes for a while still savoring Mingyu's lip and nodded "Dont be long, I've been waiting for you"

"I won't"

And he wasn't to be fair, he only took about ten minutes and came back smiling down at Wonwoo

"What did he say?"

"He's not suspecting anything bad just routine stuff" Mingyu looked more relaxed now and so was Wonwoo

It's been a couple of hours, Wonwoo was snuggled into Mingyu's side as the two shared the cold hospital bed. The doctor left them a few minutes ago and Wonwoo wasn't feeling all that well ... he was all too nervous and a bit too anxious.

Mingyu's arm wrapped around his shoulder and softly brushing his arm ... it was soothing "It's okay baby, it's nothing much we can work it out"

Wonwoo nodded

"Are you scared?"

"No, not really ... it's just weird"

Mingyu's cheek rested on top of Wonwoo's head "Anemia is not so dangerous, we just have to monitor it for a while and take medication"

"Yeah" Wonwoo sounded a bit uneasy

"I'm scared too Won," Mingyu confessed "But now we know what's wrong, we can take care of it"

Wonwoo nodded

"I love you okay? Nothing will change that"

"I love you too" Wonwoo replied, letting his head snuggle further into Mingyu and felt the way he squeezed him tighter
"I want to go home Min"

"Yes baby I'll take you home, I'll take care of you"

A while later, Mingyu was signing Wonwoo's release papers, helped him to his feet and were finally on their way home.
Their home was a big luxurious two bedroom apartment on the 20th something floor of a nice sophisticated building. Their parents are absolutely rich and extreme rivals, and are not exactly on board with Mingyu and Wonwoo's relationship. When the two met during some fancy company meeting and again at one of the country's most expensive universities, fireworks filled the sky and time stopped.

Wonwoo finally laid down on his and Mingyu's bed. He sighed feeling the familiar fabric of their soft mattress and the warm embrace of his fiancé.
"Try to get some rest?" Mingyu asked softly ruffled his hair and pecked his cheeks over and over again, Wonwoo giggled a little but didn't stop him he loved being snuggled into Mingyu like this.

It was still late afternoon, so when Wonwoo woke up next it was to the smell of yummy food. He smiled to himself getting off the bed slowly, he felt well rested and relaxed, suddenly this Anemia thing wasn't so bothersome anymore ... he can do this, Mingyu won't let anything happen to him.

He slowly walked to the living room without thinking twice and was surprised when his name was called out loudly and someone jumped on him

"Wonwoo"

Wonwoo gasped but didn't reject the sudden hug attack "Seungkwanie ... Hi what are you doing here?" He looked up "What are you guys doing here?"

"You almost seem like you're not happy to see us" Jeonghan looked offended

"Sorry Hannie I didn't mean it like that" Wonwoo felt bad for the words that jumped off his mouth without thinking

"We heard you collapsed during class today we just wanted to see you" Joshua said, eyes concerned and scanning Wonwoo's face, behind him, stood DK his boyfriend also looking a bit concerned

Holding hands with Seungkwan, Wownoo walked over the living room ... Mingyu was smiling and standing close by simply watching them

"I'm fine ... a little Anemic that's all" Wonwoo announced and even though it wasn't all that happy of an announcement but at least it wasn't something worse

Mingyu opened his arms as Wonwoo walked right into them he looked up at his fiancé "I thought making your favorite food and a sleep over with our favorite people might make you feel better"

Wonwoo smiled "It's perfect, however we might have to adopt Seungkwan for a few days because he won't leave me alone knowing I have pills to take now"

Mingyu chuckled "Well he should better take a number cause I'm not giving my spot for anyone"
