"Min ... Min-ah wake up" Seungkwan softly called out for him when DK dozed off on their way back home that night.
He must have been tired but so was everyone. DK opened his eyes, he was a little disoriented but awake enough to recognize that they were finally home.He stumbled out of the van, sleepy and tired. It's been a long day, they've been performing outside and the weather wasn't on their side. DK was merely wearing a white tshirt, it was really cold and he could feel the aftermath piling up in his chest.
He trailed behind Jeonghan and Seungkwan while Joshua stood by his side. He felt as his head started to get foggy and the uncomfortable feeling sitting on his chest getting more and more suffocating.
He felt his body get weaker as he reached home. He took a quick shower and skipped dinner, because eating anything right now made him feel like he might throw up.
He shivered a little while changing his clothes and he knew for sure that he must have caught a cold.He miserably wrapped himself in his blanket seeking the warmth of his own bed. Soon, a loud sneeze followed and he cursed under his own breaths.
Joshua walked inside their shared bedroom to find DK wrapped up like a burrito in his own covers when another sneeze escaped him.
"Hey there are you okay? That didn't sound good" Joshua was worried, he sat next to Seokmin on the bed.
"I feel cold" He mumbled, his eyes a bit watery and looking rather tired."Yeah I can see you're shivering, I think you caught a cold there Seok"
Seokmin didn't say anything but rather buried himself further into his blanket.
"I'll get you some cold medicine okay? And another blanket maybe?""I appreciate it Shua thank you" DK mumbled and a while later, gulped down the pills Joshua brought him and simply went to sleep it off.
Joshua knew better to keep an eye on Seokmin throughout the night and he was right to do so because soon, his fever spiked up and his cough was getting worse and he he couldn't breathe all too well.
"Hey" Joshua stroke DK's hair softly, he brought him some warm water and a cough syrup. The younger shivered as he sat up from his bed taking a few sips of his water and a spoonful of the cough syrup.
Joshua placed his palm over his forehead "You're warm Seok" he sounded worried seeing the way the younger's face got paler. Seokmin's cheeks were flushed with a bright pink, he was shivering continuously and pulling the blanket over his head.
"I can't keep giving you cold medicine" Joshua muttered almost to himself as Seokmin looked too tired to even reply to him. He watched as the younger blinked slowly wanting nothing but to sleep for a while, trying to ignore his throbbing headache and irritating cough.
He was finally dozing off when Joshua left the room, he softly knocked on Jeonghan and Woozi's room, hearing a soft Humm from behind the door"Hi" Joshua greeted the two, Jeonghan was on his bed playing with his phone while Woozi had his headphones on staring at something on his computer desk.
"Whatsup?" Jeonghan asked looking up from his phone
"Seokmin is sick, he's been coughing and his fever is getting bad"
"What? Since when?" Woozi asked concerned
"Since we got back, it's been cold tonight, have you seen what he was wearing earlier?"
Jeonghan got up from his bed, yes he has seen what he was wearing, there's no surprise that he caught a cold "Let me see him" Jeonghan left with Joshua and soon Woozi trailed behind them.
Jeonghan crouched down near the sleepy Seokmin. He didn't want to bother him as the boy looked tired and sleepy. He simply placed his palm over Seokmin's forehead feeling the heat that radiated from him and frowned
"I'll get some cold water and a towel let's at least help him with that" ... "Let him rest we will see how he feels in the morning"Jeonghan does just that throughout the night. They gathered in Seokmin and Joshua's room, taking turns to change the wet towel again and again, checking on his fever from time to time. Seokmin was uncomfortable, tossing and turning and whining, sometimes mumbling things that didn't make sense but they let him be anyways.
It was morning and Joshua was sleeping with Woozi on the floor while Jeonghan took Joshua's bed for the night. Seokmin opened his eyes slowly feeling terrible, he looked around to see his until scattered around his room and he felt grateful for having them around him. He tried to go back to sleep but his stomach was having a mind of its own.
It twisted and turned for a while before Seokmin had the urge to throw up.He shot up from bed to the bedroom where he heaved into the toilet bowl. He didn't think he was making that much noise until Jeonghan walked in, helped him wash up once he was done and walked him back to bed.
He shivered as Jeonghan tucked him back to bed and flinched as Jeonghan felt his forehead and cheeks."Feeling any better? You're still warm" Jeonghan pointed out and Seokmin shivered a bit more squirming under his blanket
"I just ... want to sleep" he mumbled trying to go back to sleep
"I know, you should rest ... I'll make you some breakfast, eat and take your cold medicine, you'll feel better in a while"
Seokmin agreed, this was just a bad cold, he'll feel better. He did what he was told and munched a little on his breakfast still shivering a little from his fever. He gulped down the pills and went back to sleep.
It was probably late afternoon when he woke up next. He felt a bit better but he was still too weak to leave his bed. He blinked the the sleepiness away but was feeling sleepy still and just wanted to go back to sleep if he could.
Woozi walked in a while later with a smile on his face.
"Hi, feeling any better?" He asked sitting by Seokmin's side, he saw him nodding weakly and he knew that he definitely wasn't."Okay, just rest for now, I'll get you some something warm to eat"
"I'd like that thanks"
