"Hey Kwannie?"
Seungcheol tried calling him with the softest tone ever.

The leader stood a few feet away from him and took a few cautious steps closer.

"What are you doing here kiddo?"
He asked, his voice sweet and careful ... very, very careful.

Seungkwan was simply standing at the end of the room, wearing nothing but his thin pyjamas, ignoring the cold air that hit his face and seemed to be busy staring into the sky.

He looked around and Seungcheol was making his way to him, very slowly with a strange look on his face.

Seungkwan smiled and shook his head "Nothing much" he simply answered "It's a clear sky tonight, I just wanted to send a few prayers and stare at the stars"

Seungcheol seemed to be understanding, he nodded with a smile "I see, that's amazing Kwanie, let me just, get closer okay?"

Sure, Seungcheol could get closer, he never had to ask before and it was a little strange but Seungkwan didn't mind at all.
He soon felt the leader's warm presence near him, Seungcheol removed his coat and gently placed it on Seungkwan's shoulders

"There, it's cold Kwanie, we don't want you to catch a cold do we?"

Seungkwan chuckled "No, we don't" he answered, he was replying to Seungcheol but his focus was still on the night sky though, and he seemed distracted like he wanted to say something thing but needed up keeping them to himself.

Seungcheol's coat was warm and Seungkwan didn't actually realize how cold he felt until the warm sensation hit him, and then ... Seungcheol'a arms wrapped around his waist ... why? He wondered for a moment but then Seungcheol pulled closer a few steps back,

Away

From

The edge

Away from the edge of the roof top, where Seungkwan was nonchalantly standing ... looking at the night sky, on a cold winter night, in his pyjamas at 2 am in the morning.

It was scary, if not terrifying,

When they woke up and couldn't find him, they started looking around and finally, they found him standing on the roof top gazing at the sky.

No one can deny that Seungkwan has been struggling lately. He's always been a sensitive person but lately, he seemed to be drifting away. Too many painful memories and so many emotions taking over him, from a sudden family death to anniversaries he wished he could get past and everything seemed to be swaying him left and right.

When Seungkwan realized what Seungcheol was trying to do, he stiffened. Certainly, he wasn't trying to do anything stupid tonight but it surely did look like that. Seungcheol must have been worried to death about him, he took another look around and saw the rest of the boys standing by the door, away from him holding their breaths and watching as Seungcheol brought him back inside their home safely.

"I'm sorry ... I didn't mean to—" Seungkwan had this look in his eyes, he was confused himself and guilt creeped all over him.

Jeonghan gave him a warm hug the moment he stepped inside "Let's get you inside and warm you up" Jeonghan smiled softly at him tightening Seungcheol's coat around Seungkwan's petite figure and guided him gently towards the living room.

Seungkwan lost so much recently, everyone knows that but this ... this was a little concerning. He was freezing cold but he couldn't feel a feel thing, he's been standing there for at least an hour or so without realizing just how close he was to the edge of the roof.

He walked in with heavy steps while trying to make sense of his own actions, Jeonghan by his side helping him to take a seat and the others gave him space but still gathered close around him.
