Jeonghan wasn't feeling well since that morning, he wasn't sure if it was the foreign food they had at dinner the night before or the continuous back to back schedules ... or maybe it was the see through shirt he had to wear during all of their performances while it was absolutely freezing.
He was wearing a thick grey hoodie, a white bucket hat that he borrowed from Wonwoo that same morning and his backpack felt like the heaviest thing he ever had to carry.
The flight back home was only a few hours long and no matter what he did, he couldn't stop shivering. The flight attendant was kind enough to bring him two blankets on top of his thick hoodie and he was still feeling cold during the entire flight.
Hoshi was sitting by his side the entire time and even used his own coat to cover him up ... Jeonghan looked like nothing but a pile of clothes and blankets until the time they landed.
He was definitely coming down with something, he was shivering cold but his fever was definitely spiking up. Hoshi looked so worried, they were about to disembark and he gently took Jeonghan's hand when the older stumbled a few times while walking down the aisle.
"Are you sure you're okay?"
Hoshi asked catching the attention of Joshua and Wonwoo as well"I feel weird ... I want to get home and sleep, maybe get a flu shot too"
Hoshi scanned the older's face "Definitely" ... "Still feeling cold?"
"Freezing"
"It's not that cold though, please stay close by I don't want to lose you in the crowd"
Jeonghan sighed, he could take an airport mob on any other day, but today, he just prayed and prayed that their exit would be smooth.
Talk about bad luck
Because Jeonghan was cursing himself right nowThere was just a non ending line of people, shoving and yelling their names. Jeonghan did his best to remain balanced, waving hello and giving autographs whenever possible. He couldn't be more grateful for Wonwoo who gave him a white mask to match his white bucket hat a few minutes before they started walking through immigration.
Jeonghan was panting hard, feeling his legs wobble with every step he took. His cheeks probably were super flushed under the mask while the bucket hat slightly covered his eyes. He stood in the line, Seungcheol and DK behind him as they walked the straight line to the exit with their bodyguards on both sides. He felt Seungcheol's arm over his back on more than one occasion ... was he slacking off?
He was walking slowly and his steps were getting heavier and ... at some point, he lost his balance ... and fell backwards right into DK's arms
The crowd gasped loudly some of them even screamed, getting everyone's attention immediately
Jeonghan quickly regained control over his feet, he wasn't sure what happened exactly but he brushed it off as a trip
"Sorry everyone ... I just tripped" he tried to explain a couple of times before he picked up his pace ... he just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible."Are you okay?" DK and Seungcheol asked as the two acted like Jeonghan's personal bodyguards covering him on each side
"I don't feel so good Cheol, please, I want to get out of here as soon as possible ... I don't think I can handle it any longer"
Seungcheol frowned "Are you hurt?"
"Dizzy and ... nauseous, I'm cold" Jeonghan said grabbing the sides of his own arms like he was hugging himself
"Okay ... let's take you home" Seungcheol announced and hurried to clear the way for all of them to reach the parking lot
Once they were all settled in the van, Seungcheol helped Jeonghan take the bucket hat and the mask off just to take a good look at his face and Jeonghan was sweating so much, his cheeks flushed and barely could take a single deep breath.
