I lost my interest in promoting the song myself after it leaked. My feelings for the song slowly diminished throughout the night and I just stop giving a fuck and went to sleep.

I didn't bother checking social media to see if they liked it or not, I already knew they did.

I still was pissed that the song leaked and I couldn't help but wonder how the hell it got out. From this moment forward I wasn't going to tell anyone about a surprise release until the very last minute. Literally.

I got up out of bed and checked my phone to hundreds of new messages I wasn't going to answer. I only answered Javon's good morning text and closed the app.

I got up and did my daily hygiene, truly I wasn't sure what I wanted to do today considering it's Friday and I don't feel like working on anything but whatever happens, happens.

I got back in bed and put my bonnet on to just scroll through files I had on my computer. I had A LOT of scrapped music in here and with Javon at my side he could help me fix my problems with each of them.

I stopped scrolling when I got to a song that Javon I had previously worked on, Jada. Jada was a song that had a different song from any of the other songs I had planned to be on the album. The production wasn't the most 2000ish sound as the other ones were.

It was like a robotic laser gliding through the same 4 pitches throughout the entire song. Originally I was going to scrap it for its extreme differentiation in sound compared to the other songs. But I kept it for some reason that I wasn't even aware of.

I got a call from Javon and contemplated about answering before I finally did.

"Hello?" I greeted.

"Whatzup."

"Nothing why?"

"Did you forget that you released a song today?" He said chuckling.

"No......?" I said genuinely confused about what he was implying.

"You haven't posted about the song once. It's like you don't care for it at all." He said.

"Your fans have been working hard too, it's already #1 on iTunes." He explained.

"They're so crazy." I laughed.

"Why haven't you promoted it?" He inquired.

"Why do I need to? They seem to be having fun with it." I said.

"Still though, acknowledge the song that put you through hell for months, and now that it's out people like it." He continued

He was right. I should acknowledge it somehow I guess.

Normally I do promote singles I've put out but I lost motivation to promote this one when it leaked.

"Fine, I will," I said letting out a sigh.

"Good, can I come over though?" He said as if he was scared to ask.

"Sure but I'm not doing anything."

"That's alright i'm just lonely."

"Call Coco" I joked.

"Shut up. I'm on my way." He said and the line went dead.

See he's my man he just doesn't know it like he's not my man but he is my man but he's not my man because he's just not like I don't know.

I patiently waited at the door for Javon, blushing and fantasizing about him until he got here.

The doorbell rang and I immediately swung the door open and smiled.

"Hey," I said with a big ass smile.
