A long and stressful week has gone by since me and Adonis released our "groundbreaking" tracks.
I was able to get under his skin so much that he released his entire deluxe album. I have to give him credits though because he made it all by himself.
Not even with the man that he fantasizes about.
Today was the day that the charts would come out, I've seen my fanbase buying and streaming my song—just as i've seen Adonis' do the same.
I was pretty confident my song was going to hit the #1 spot before his, his fans were dumb enough to stream the entire deluxe album. That doesn't do anything but slow the single down.
I've seen some predictions circulating around twitter—the various amount of ambiguous predictions were nerve racking I won't lie.
I also won't lie when I say Adonis is the best competition I've had so far, he's the only one that's actually been able to piss me off.
All the other dolls who've tried to take what's mine... well let's just say they involuntarily fell off the scene.
If Adonis were to get in my way again, I'd have to get rid of him as well. Even if it meant killing him.
"Mommy!" My son squealed running downstairs.
"hey little guy!" I said kneeling so I could hug him. "what're you doing mommy?" Chase asked.
"working honey," I said—I could see his face contort in sadness with my words.
He was never fond of the fact of my constant work. Whenever I would do performances or a world tour—he would tell himself that I loved my job more than him. Which isn't true—but thankfully he would eventually capitulate the idea.
"—but" I started up again. "daddy is on his way here!" I said in faked glee.
Truthfully if it were up to me, Javon would never see his son again. But it's up to the court. Javon is so stuck on that boy Adonis that he doesn't even care for his own child anymore.
"Yay!" He said jumping up and down.
if only he knew how much of an asshole his own father was. Javon was coming over because he claims he needs to talk to me—probably about me and Adonis' feud but again, I don't really care.
A knock coming from my front door caused my exuberant masquerade to drop as I was cognizant of who was on the other side. I stood up and walked to the door. I contemplated about answering it, but knew I didn't really have a choice.
I opened the door and was met with Javon's taller frame—his annoyed look caused me to roll my eyes and start walking away—indicating for him to follow.
I felt his heavy footsteps behind and heard the door closed.
"Daddy!" Our child yelled gleefully. I watched as he ran over to his father and hugged at his leg. Javon kneeled down to return the gesture.
"What's going on little guy!" Javon said happily.
Despite my indifferent feelings for Javon, I couldn't say he was a bad father. Whenever he could he would try to make time for his son and they would hang out.
"I got new cars!" Chase exclaimed. "That's cool!" Javon lied for the sake of Chase's amusement.
"Why don't you go get them while I talk to mommy?" He said which made me internally groan. "hmm Okay!" Chase said before running upstairs quickly.
Javon stood back up and walked out to the kitchen where I was. He leaned against the island and sighed heavily.
"Can I get you a glass of wine? Cabernet? White?" I said changing the subject before it could even start. I walked to my cabinet and pulled out a bottle for myself—knowing that whatever Javon was about to say was going to inevitably irritate me.
