Shockingly, I won 2 more awards in the past hour. Javon hasn't shown any sort of happiness for me. Zaniyah was the only one of us to address it but I was just going to keep it classy and talk to him about it later. Again if I was being completely honest I didn't give a fuck about awards.

"Oooookaayyy, everyone," Coco said dragging out the "okay" and smiling as she stepped back up to the microphone on stage.

Consequently, the crowd cheered and clapped.

"The next category we will be announcing is ..... Best R&B Performance." She said happily.

I stopped listening and went on my phone curious about what people were saying on Twitter.

"Adonis' producer NEEDS me."
"Adonis is winning this next award I know it."
"Y'all catch how Adonis didn't credit the producer that made Fantasize while said the producer was in the same room."

At that tweet I paused.

I did say his name... right?

Now I'm stuck. I did say his name. No, I didn't oh my god. I was so worried about shading Coco that I forgot.

I was broken out of my deep thoughts when Coco said:

"And the BMA goes to...." She paused and squinted her eyes at the paper. She then looked as if she was thinking before she spoke up.

"Me!" She yelled and covered her heart with her hands as the crowd cheered for her.

"What?!" Both Zaniyah and Javon said in unison. The announcement was so shocking that even Javon spoke up for the first time in an hour.

"What?" I asked them.

"You deserved that award," Zaniyah said in disbelief.

"I promise yall it's never that serio-"

"Nah hold on," Zaniyah said getting up and making her way to the main stage.

"Ah hell shit," I said under my breath all while contemplating if I was gonna follow her.

This could go two ways, Coco could lose her life, or someone else could.

When she got up to the stage she took the envelope out of Cocos' hand, read it, and scoffed into the microphone. She raised her eyebrows and rolled her tongue in her mouth.

The crowd was in shock, tears almost. I was so .. embarrassed isn't even a word to describe it.

"Hello? Yes is this thing on? Oh alright. So I'm Adonis' friend, his sister if you will. That's my bitch for real my ride or die!" She started rambling. This could not go well.

"Before I say what the fuck I got to say I just wanna say ... HI BEYONCÉ I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" She said pointing somewhere in the crowd.

"Ok so as I was saying ..." She started.

"So boo boo kitty over here said she won..." She reiterated.

"But according to this lil paper I got here, it says Adonis won with Fantasize..." The crowd was filled with gasps and "oohs". Coco just stood there awkwardly and forced a smile.
