Wes

I'm excited to see her. A week without her has been extremely too long. It's weird, weeks ago I was living my life just fine without her. I didn't know her. But now I do know her, I find it hard to forget about her.

Sage is the kind of girl that you meet once and can't stop thinking about. She's the girl you speak to for a few seconds and already feel safe and comfortable in her presence. You walk away smiling from a conversation with her. Impressed by her wit and her intelligence, encapsulated by her beauty and confidence and just in awe of her really.

There's not one place she walks into that doesn't immediately light up when she arrives. I see it. I see how heads turn her way. How people want to look at her because of her beauty. How they get drawn in by her light. She has this warm energy around her. Sometimes I swear I can see a little yellow light following her around. Like a real life angel, just missing her halo. Not that she even needs one to be considered an angel.

I'm all smiles as I pull up to her house. I'm happy I don't have to wait outside her gate anymore. I get out, grab the bouquet of roses from the passenger seat. Close the door behind me and walk up to her front door.

Flash a wave at the security nearby. I then ring her doorbell, waiting for her.

The door opens, but it's not her on the other side. It's her brother Ty, who looks nothing short of unimpressed to see me.

"Hey." I shoot him a small smile.

"Hi." He replies coldly. Not my biggest fan. That's okay. I get it. I already want to protect sage and I've known her less than a month, cant imagine how he feels being her brother.

"Hey!" I hear coming from my newly favourite voice. Peer over to see her standing next to Ty.

She looks as beautiful as ever. Dressed in this black pleated miniskirt that's pinstriped. Plain white cropped Tee, black leather jacket and black leather heeled boots that stop just under her knees. Since it's October and a little chilly she's also wearing those fashion tights that are the trend these days for girls. almost every girl I've hooked up with in the past owns a pair of them. Looks better on Sage though.

Her hair is down with a middle parting which I love. I love her hair. Love her curls. How they fall and how soft they look. Her hair is a big part of who she is so I love that I can finally see it down in all its glory.

"Sorry I would of answered the door to stop...well this." She gestures between her brother and I.

"Nothing's happening." Ty denies, crossing his arms over his chest. Still staring me down. His eyes haven't moved from me since he opened the door. Again I get it. I'd probably be the same if I had a little sister.

"You look like you're in a fucking western movie where the two cowboys have a standoff." She glares at him.

He turns to look at her, rolling his eyes. "Dramatic."

"No, you're dramatic." She shakes her head as she pulls the prada bag onto her shoulder.

Steps out of the door, turns to look at her brother. "I'll be back later."

He nods once. "Text me."

She salutes playfully at him before walking to me, her heels clicking.
