Today the six of us are driving up to the Hartley brothers country home in the Cotswolds. As I've been told it's one of their many homes they own. A big manor in the village of Broadway.

Not particularly sure why we're taking this two hour journey to their family home. Wes didn't give me many details, so I bugged the second Hartley boy who I'm just as close to and he didn't give me any information either.

Vee has no clue herself. She tried asking Luca but he kept diverting the question and changing the subject which she found incredibly weird so then I asked the question that I think of first these days more than I use to. Are we in danger?

She denied it though, saying—Luca even though he'd be reluctant to, would have told her if it was serious and we were at risk.

So we ended up back at the start having absolutely no clue why we were taking a trip, on Boxing Day.

Which, by the way was a terrible decision seeing as there was heaps of traffic.

None of that matters anyways once we arrive and I stare out of the window at the beautiful place we're in.

It's a long path we drive down, the house getting closer as we do so. Trees dotted each side of the path, standing tall and bright because of the sun beating down on them.

The house itself looks like a university building with how big it is, I can only imagine how gorgeous it'll look inside.

As we park, a fountain comes into my view. I do believe it's a stone statue of Cupid, standing on a little pedestal.

"Here we are." Kane smiles as he steps out of the car. Opens my door for me so I can climb out.

"Sometimes I forget you guys are rich, and then I see things like this and remember." I laugh as I stare up at the mansion of a house. Can't even imagine how many rooms this place has.

"It's absolutely beautiful here!" Valentina gasps as she gets out of the second car. We drove in two separate cars as there's so many of us and Trey and Kane got into an argument about space and being cramped.

Luca slips an arm around her waist and smiles at her before he takes a look at the house I'm sure he's been to many times.

"Still looks the same after eight years." He states, glances at the other boys.

"We haven't come back since then. Mum doesn't really come up here anymore. She prefers to fly out to our villa in Spain." Wes shrugs.

"And your dad?" Trey asks.

"Dad use to come up here for business deals." Kane whispers to me.

"Doesn't come here anymore either." And I detect a hint of maybe sadness in my boyfriend's face. But I can't tell if that's because his dad's been mentioned, his face always seems to pull that way when he is. Or because his dad hasn't come to the family home in a while.

"The housekeepers and the gardener take good care of the property though." Kane pitches in as a sort of buffer. Think he notices his brothers sadness.
