"Where's Vee at today?" I ask Luca, leaning down with my cue stick so I'm close to the pool table. Hit the cue ball that hits all the other ones. They immediately scatter. A few going into the holes.

Luca looks displeased with my success. Worried that I will win, which I always do.

"She's gone for breakfast with Sage."

"With Sage? My Sage?" I ask

"She ain't your Sage bro." Trey speaks laughing a little.

I flip him off. Turn back to Luca the man with all of the answers. Wait for his reply.

"Yeah that Sage." He nods taking his turn at the pool table and then moving aside to let Trey have his go.

"Since when did those two become friends?" I question. Walking behind Trey, looking over his shoulder as he goes to take his shot.

"Fuck off!" He nudges me and I laugh moving away. Sit down at the bar that's in the game room. Having a game room at home is the best idea I've ever had. I'm Kane was very much against it at first saying that it encourages my gambling addiction which I don't think is too bad but to him it is. Now he enjoys it. Plays pool and darts with me all the time.

"Bonded after meeting each other at the club I guess." Luca shrugs

"Vee got her number yesterday." Kane speaks

I look over at him. "Why didn't you fucking tell me that yesterday? I would of asked Vee for it."

"She wouldn't of given it to you." Luca mumbles with a quiet laugh. My eyes snap to him.

"She wouldn't?"

"No. She even told me she promised Sage she wouldn't." Luca takes the cue stick back from Trey. Starts preparing for his shot.

I let out a sigh. Walk around the bar and pour myself a drink. Jack Daniel's on the rocks. Walk back around and sit down once again at the bar.

"I've never had to work this hard to get a girls number before." I take a sip of my drink.

Kane sniffs a laugh from the couch, turning to the next page of his book. He's reading a little life. "You don't usually get girls numbers first. You sleep with them first and then get their number the morning after. Which you promise to use but never do."

"Can you not analyse me." I glare at him.

He shrugs. "You have such an interesting thought process. It's hard not to."

I ignore him, sipping some more of my drink. Waiting for Luca to take another shot. The door to the game room opens and in walks Valentina. Bright smile as always as she greets all of us and then gives Luca a kiss on the cheek.

She walks over to where I am, taking a seat on the bar stool next to me.

"You went out with my future wife." I state

"Future wife?" She looks confused

"Sage." Trey fills in
