"Oh my god!" Sage's mouth falls open as she stares out the window. We're driving up to Luca's house. Just passed through the gate.
"This house is massive!" She's still in shock even as we park up and get out.
I laugh, taking her hand in mine as we walk to the front door. Ring the doorbell and wait.
"Bring your key next time!" A voice says from the little ring doorbell speaker. It's trey's voice. We all have our own keys to each others houses. Just in case.
"Just open the fucking door!" I snap at him.
"Wouldn't need me to if you brought your key." He sasses. I hear my brother agree in the background. Bunch of children they are.
As I'm about to respond the door opens, my brother on the other end, charming smile.
"Well hello brother of mine." He's so extra.
"Sage, very happy to see you again." He takes her hand and kisses it politely. Leads her inside, leaving me trailing behind like an idiot.
"Finished they both die at the end. Brilliant book!" He gestures to the couch for her to sit down. She does so, waving to Trey who smiles at her. He watches me amusedly as I sulkily sit down next to my brother who has decided to sit next to her.
"I know right! I cried so much. It was so beautifully written." She does a cute little sad pout.
"I also read terms and conditions like you suggested."
"You read and finished both books? I recommended them to you yesterday." She laughs. Adore her laugh.
"My brothers a serial reader." I butt in just to make her laugh again. She does, looking from me back to him, waiting for an explanation.
He shrugs cooly. "I can finish books very quickly."
"Because he's an alien freak with the worlds largest brain!" Trey teases taking his eyes off his camera for a second to look back at us.
Kane flicks him in the head, focusing back on Sage.
"How did you find terms and conditions?" She questions.
"Really good actually. I don't usually read romance books that much but this one was extremely well written. Iris and Declan are a great couple." He smiles.
"Aren't they!" Sage coo's
"Declan reminds me of Wes a lot." He nudges me in the arm.
"Really? I'd say more Luca."
"Nah, my brother for sure. He's moody like Declan." Kane laughs. He lives to mock me.
"Moody? Really? He's not moody around me." She flashes a smirk over at me.
"That's because it's you. Around us he's the grumpiest." Kane pinches my cheek and I swat his hand away. Maybe I need to read this silly book and see what the fuck my brothers talking about.
