It was early in the morning as a car pulled suddenly into the carpark of the New Zoo.

Its movements were frantic, the 'box on wheels' struggling to keep going as it suddenly swerved into a nearby parking bay. The tires screeched as the car came to a sudden halt.

It was at that point the door swung open, the driver unclipping their seatbelt as they departed frantically. They didn't make any effort to lock the alleged car as they began to run forward, approaching the familiar stone archways.

The figure suddenly stumbled, falling to the floor for a brief moment as they began to get back to their feet.

"Damn it," thought Elizabeth, aching from her fall as she got back to her feet. She sensed a sudden twinge of pain, reminding her why she was here. "The Spirit...is in pain?" thought Elizabeth, her worry increasing in magnitude as forced the pain from her mind.

She needed to find the Spirit...something was clearly wrong!

Elizabeth ran as fast as she could, approaching the locked gate of the New Zoo. She grabbed the keys within her pocket fumbling around with them. She was frantically looking for the right key, fully aware that every second counted.

"Why did I forget to convince Rebecca to make these keys recognisable?" mumbled Elizabeth, chiding herself as she continued to shift quickly between the keys. It was at that moment, she felt a sudden migraine come over her. She dropped the keys, her hands immediately going to her head as the pain became impossible to bear.

"What...what's going on?" thought Elizabeth, struggling to comprehend what could be causing this. She felt a temporary sense of relief as she reached for the keys which had fortunately fallen so the main entrance key was in plain sight.

"About fucking time," said Elizabeth, her tone frantic as she reached onto her toes. She turned the key, forcing the gate open. She didn't hesitate as she ran into the Main Hallway, eager to make sure her other best friend was ok.

"Spirit? Spirit?!" shouted Elizabeth, her tone increasingly worried as she felt a sensation passing through her. It got stronger as Elizabeth could sense it as the Spirit's pain. Elizabeth gripped her head once more, feeling as if it could explode at any minute.

"I...I don't think it can take much more" thought Elizabeth, imagining that she was only feeling a fraction of what the Spirit must be feeling in that moment. That thought gave Elizabeth enough willpower to continue, feeling a sensation flowing through her.

"It's at the Loch" concluded Elizabeth, having been able to trace the Spirit via their shared bond. She continued to run, even as her legs were tiring out and her breathing increased.

Little did Elizabeth know, she was not prepared for what she was about to encounter.

At The Loch:
The Spirit was breathing heavily, the tentacle staked through its heart continued to drain away at its very essence. The Puppet lifted his arms, the Spirit looking horrified as several more of the tentacles emerged. They inched closer, before suddenly piercing into its form. The Spirit cringed, barely resisting the urge to scream as it felt more and more of its essence being taken away.

"Don't worry...you'll not need to worry soon" stated the Puppet, its tone sadistic as its smile widened. It looked at the Spirit, noticing its look of concern. "Ah...so you sense it too? She's here, which means...my plan is almost complete" continued the Puppet, its smile unwavering as it glanced at the Spirit.

The Spirit gave a momentary look of defiance. This deflated once the Puppet forced the Spirit closer to it. The Spirit found itself unable to move as the Puppet gazed directly into its eyes.
