Brent and his wife Mavis walked under the stone archways of the New Zoo. It was rather chilly outside as Mavis felt a small chill come over her as she entered.

The couple walked down the Main Hallway of the Zoo, noticing all the new animals as they looked around with intrigue. The Zoo certainly seemed to be filling up as the couple saw the herd of zebras which seemed to notice the newcomers.

"This is certainly an interesting place...isn't it?" asked Brent, looking at his wife who seemed to be equally interested, if not surprised at how settled the new animals seemed since the Zoo hadn't even opened yet.

"Definitely" agreed Mavis, shivering slightly as Brent moved closer to her. She began to feel better as she looked at her husband, smiling at the comfort and affection he was giving her exactly how she liked it.

Brent was a fairly muscular man. He wore a white t-shirt, a few sizes too small as it felt rather tight against his frame from his many days working out at the gym. He wore a pair of blue jeans which were likewise tight from his various workouts over the years as his muscles were bulging across his frame. He had short wavy blond hair which was tied up in a ponytail as he looked back to his wife.

"Anything to be able to protect my wife...my love," thought Brent as he looked down to his wife's delicate frame by comparison.

Mavis, in contrast, was rather petite in comparison to her husband's gigantic frame. However, this was rather appealing to Mavis as she felt safe in her husband's company. She had short black hair which was obscured by the black woolly hat she was wearing over her head. She tightened her black and white scarf as her brown eyes looked around. She was wrapped up in many layers in comparison to her husband, wearing a thick black coat over her upper body and a pair of thermals around her lower body.

"It certainly was strange that your sponsor gave you free passes for a Zoo of all things" stated Brent as Mavis turned away from the Zebras to stare at her husband.

"I agree...still, it gives us something to do until my next show" mused Mavis as she noticed her husband's concerned expression towards her. "What?" asked Mavis curiously, having already anticipated what her husband was going to say.

"Are you sure you should be out on the ice again this soon?" asked Brent, crossing his arms as he noticed his wife staring at him. "You've been feeling the cold much more than you used to and I don't think your ankle has fully healed since your last fall" continued Brent as he eyed his wife who appeared to be thinking.

"We knew that sacrifices would have to be made for the quality of life we enjoy" replied Mavis, noticing her husband's expression was still concerning. "I know I've been feeling the cold but with this new sponsor, I only need to do about another year and we can both retire young like we always dreamed of" continued Mavis as she shivered once again as her husband caught her.

"I just...just don't want you to get hypothermia or worse," said Brent, hugging his wife as she smiled softly, feeling the heat coming from her husband.

"I won't...I've got you don't I?" said Mavis coyly as Brent couldn't help but smile. The pair decided to look around the Zoo some more, get their mind off of their troubles for the time being.

They managed to get a glimpse of the new gorilla family who watched them intently. The female gorilla turned to them and watched intently.

"Rather intelligent creatures...it seems strange just how close we are to them," thought Mavis as she noticed a baby gorilla playing on a tire swing within the enclosure. She noticed the gorilla seemed to be watching them with a keen eye before walking away to tend to her young.

"I think we should move on" stated Brent, eying a nearby clock as he explained, "a manager should be here soon to give us a tour."

Mavis checked her watch as she nodded, silently agreeing with her husband as they continued to walk down the Main Hallway. Mavis felt a chill come over her as she shivered, Brent staying close to her as they noticed they were outside of one enclosure.

After a quick investigation and check of a nearby fact board, they discovered the enclosure was designed to store cheetahs. They looked inside as they noticed a cheetah up in one of the trees of the enclosures who was looking down on them.

It jumped down to face the couple as Brent wrapped his arms around Mavis who shuddered in excitement as she couldn't take her eyes off the cheetah as it stared at them.

"Fascinating" mumbled Mavis, watching the cheetah intently. She felt a strangeness within her as she looked up to her husband, indicating he was feeling the same thing as they noticed the cheetah seemed upset.

The pair were so side-tracked by the cheetah that they didn't notice someone walking up to them. The person was of short height and had blond hair. She had light freckles on her face and wore a plik safari hat to make herself seem taller than she was. A whistle adorned her neck, its origins unknown to even the woman herself.

"Sorry I'm late," said Elizabeth, snapping the pair out of their trance as they turned to face her. Elizabeth felt a sense of unease as she noticed Brent's gargantuan frame but suppressed the sense as she gave a soft smile, grateful that the pair seemed to return the sentiment.

"Apology accepted," said Brent, a small smile adorned his face as he gave Elizabeth the free passes that he and his wife had been given. Elizabeth barely paid the passes any mind, quickly placing the pair into her pocket.

"That's odd, you'd think she would look at them some more," thought Mavis as she felt a sense of concern which she buried within her, figuring she was just being paranoid.

"Ok, let me show you around," said Elizabeth, optimism present in her voice as she began to walk away, motioning for the pair to follow her. The couple complied, excited to see what else the Zoo had despite Mavis's increasing suspicion.

Elizabeth escorted the pair down the Main Hallway, stopping at a new enclosure as the couple stopped alongside her.

"This is my personal favourite enclosure," said Elizabeth, the couple looking inside as they notice a single seal within. It appeared to be snoozing as the pair suddenly heard a whistling noise.

"Morning Aaron" continued Elizabeth jovially as the pair faced her. They noticed Elizabeth was blowing a whistle of some kind as the seal awoke. It looked at the pair as it barked intently at the couple. He moved closer to the pair as he seemed to eye Mavis with great interest.

"She looks pretty, she would be a good mate," thought Aaron, his seal mind eying Mavis as his interest grew more and more. He had been rather lonely in the enclosure and a mate would certainly help fill his need for companionship.

"Oh...he likes you," remarked Elizabeth as she noticed that Aaron seemed extremely interested in Mavis. Mavis, however, was feeling rather uncomfortable as Aaron continued to stare at her. It was as if he was obsessed with her.

"I don't think I like that," said Mavis, her discomfort readily apparent as Elizabeth decided to try and ease her concerns.

"Oh he's just a big softie" replied Elizabeth as she looked at the pair. "Why don't I let you two have a sneak preview?" she asked, opening the door as the sudden chilly air caused Mavis to shiver slightly.

"I...I don't know" wondered Mavis as she looked to her husband who seemed to be waiting for her response. Against her better judgement, she nodded, Elizabeth smiling as she guided the pair to the back door of the enclosure.

Elizabeth opened it as she guided the pair inside. The pair complied with her guiding as Elizabeth closed the door. The couple didn't realise that the door had locked behind them as they were too busy admiring the enclosure. It certainly looked different from within.

"Welcome to the Zoo. It'll be nice to have a recognizable talent on our team" remarked Elizabeth as she smiled, excited for the new additions she would have not a moment too soon.

The couple noticed the enclosure had a beach theme. It had a tiled floor coloured yellow to emulate the look of sand, a massive pool which they figured is where the seals would swim and relax when not performing,

There was also what appeared to be a beach towel with a parasol lying on the floor which Mavis observed by the open glass ceiling was designed to let in natural sunlight.

Mavis noticed Aaron within the enclosure who was still staring intently at her. Despite her unease, she moved closer towards him as she watched the seal go into the pool and perform some tricks which she couldn't help but be impressed by. She looked around, noticing that there were multiple beach towels with parasols within the enclosure.

"I'm guessing they plan to add more seals to their collection soon," said Mavis, barely resisting a shiver as the cold air within the enclosure was beginning to get to her.

"Looks like it" replied Brent, noticing his wife's expression of discomfort. "Mavis, are you alright, are you feeling cold?" asked Brent, noticing his wife nodding to confirm his suspicions.

"I think it's best if we leave," said Mavis, her voice uneasy as she could feel the chill in the air as Brent only nodded in reply. As the pair began to head for the door, Aaron saw his moment and swiped at her feet with his tail, causing Mavis to fall into the pool.

"Mavis!" shouted Brent, his voice suddenly full of worry as he looked at the pool. He saw his wife struggling, her motions slowing as the coldness of the water was clearly getting to her. He looked towards Aaron feeling a sense of hostility forming between them as he lowered himself, grabbing onto Mavis's hand who gripped it strongly as he pulled her out of the pool.

"Mavis, speak to me," said Brent, his voice shaky as his wife seemed to barely respond. She opened her eyes as she stared up at her husband, feeling something odd beginning to build up within her.

"That's odd, I feel...warm," thought Mavis as she soon realised she was beginning to feel a tingle all over her body. She smiled slightly as the feeling felt rather comforting. Unknown to her, the magic was beginning to claim her, change her into a seal!.

Brent continued to cradle his wife, trying to comfort her as he noticed Aaron pointing his head upwards as he eyed her intently. Brent looked to the seal, glaring at him as he felt anger building from within him.

"Go away, can't you just leave me with my wife" demanded Brent as Aaron didn't seem to take much notice, moving into the water as he quickly dived, showing his head above the water as he spat some at Brent.

Brent was in momentary shock as he tried to react to being hit by rather cold water. He decided to ignore it, for the time being, concentrating on comforting his wife as he felt an odd tingling in his face which seemed to be spreading across his body.

"Mavis...I'm here honey" said Brent, trying to comfort his wife in what he thought might be her final moments. However, he could feel an odd warmth emanating from her as he noticed her eyes opening. They seemed to be in a state of excruciating pain as she looked around.

"Aghh, it hurts!" screamed Mavis, her legs feeling as if they were on fire as they began to merge. It felt as if someone had put her legs into a blender as she screamed once more, tears in her eyes as Brent felt powerless to help her.

Her thermals began to stretch, becoming increasingly uncomfortable as they eventually tore, revealing her changing legs to Brent who could only stare in confusion.

"Wait...what's happening to her?" wondered Brent as he noticed her legs appeared to have merged into one single limb. Mavis cried into Brent's chest, seeking comfort as she could feel her feet crunching together, shifting as it formed her new wide fin.

As the pain eased, Mavis looked back, resisting the urge to scream as she eyed her ew tail, shaking it as realisation sunk in that it was indeed hers.

"Mavis, Mavis calm down...I'm here" said Brent worriedly, trying to calm his wife as she seemed to settle in his embrace. Mavis looked at Brent, noticing that he seemed to have whiskers growing from his face.

"What...what's happening to us?" asked Mavis, her voice small and fearful as she turned to her husband for support.

"Us?" responded Brent confusingly as Mavis nodded, resulting in Brent feeling more confused.

"Honey...you have whiskers" admitted Mavis as Brent felt his face for a moment, noticing a foreign object on it as he pulled at it, cringing at the sensation of pain as he looked back to his wife.

"Wait..." started Brent, examining his wife's face as she relented, letting him as he noticed what appeared to be the formation of whiskers growing from the face of his wife.

"I guess...I'm growing them as well," said Mavis, her voice small as Brent nodded. Mavis went quiet, still in shock over what was happening to her and her husband as her skin began to feel very strange, her clothing feeling more and more uncomfortable.

Brent could only watch as his wife's skin began to darken, it seemed to be changing to a black colour as the texture felt strange in his hands. Unknown to him, Mavis' skin composition was becoming very oily as she began to feel very uncomfortable in her clothes. She could feel her body pushing against them as she felt herself get fatter and fatter as her new blubber settled in. She could feel a strange warmth come over her as she looked at her husband.

"Can you help me out of my coat please?" asked Mavis.

"But Mavis, the cold...you'll" replied Brent.

"I'm feeling too warm" stated Mavis quickly as Brent complied with her request, removing her coat as he eyed his wife's changing body. She was starting to look more like an animal.

He didn't have much time to focus on this as his hands felt strange. He looked down at his fingers as they seemed to merge, webbing forming between them as it twisted into a fin shape. He felt the sensations travel up his arms, shifting the limbs until he felt his arms being reduced to a pair of flippers.

"Wait...are we becoming seals?" asked Brent, too shocked to react to what was happening. He quickly suppressed his shock, he needed to focus on his wife, make sure she was calm.

"Looks that way" replied Mavis as Brent looked over to her. He felt forced to watch as Mavis's arms seemed to shift. Her fingers merged like Brent's had, beginning to lose dexterity as they shifted alongside her arms into a pair of black flippers.

"Tight...my top's too tight" grunted Mavis as she could feel it ripping under her new blubber. It soon tore and fell to the ground as Mavis's whole body was exposed. From the neck down she was a complete seal as she looked to her husband, worry evident in her eyes.
Meanwhile, Aaron was looking at his developing mate promisingly as he eyed her. His instincts were demanding he establish him as the top of the pack and he planned to do it by mating with this new female.

"Wait...is he, is he interested in me?" wondered Mavis, noticing Aaron hadn't taken his eyes off of her for the duration of her transformation. She turned to her husband, panic evident in her eyes. "Please, help me...I don't want to be a seal, I don't want to be his mate!" said Mavis as she began to softly weep, realising what her future was likely to be as Brent could only hug her, trying to comfort her like he had done so many times before.

"I'll make sure he isn't" replied Brent, his wife looking at him as she tried to calm her weeping. "I promised I'd protect you and that's what I'm going to do" finished Brent as Mavis looked at him, a small smile forming on her face.

Brent could feel the sensations increase in magnitude, his resistance fading as the changes began to spread like wildfire His legs began to merge, his trousers ripping as his new tail formed, forcing him onto his stomach as Mavis looked with interest. Unknown to her, her developing seal instincts were indicating to her that Brent would be a worthy mate as she felt a sense of arousal begin to emerge within her.

"Brent...I need you" moaned Mavis, her instincts beginning to become dominant as Brent watched his wife, beginning to move over to her as he felt a small sense of shock at how easy his brain was adapting to the movement of a seal.

Brent felt his skin begin to darken like his wives. It turned black as it took on an oily composition which felt strange against his still intact shirt. That was short-lived as he felt his blubber growing as it settled in, destroying his shirt which then laid on the ground, discarded by the changing human as he could also feel new developing instincts forming in his mind.

The couple looked at each other, the pair feeling their developing instincts starting to overwhelm them as the temptation to mate was becoming impossible to resist.

"I guess this is it" wondered Brent, still sensing his wife's unease as he realised at this point, their faces were the only indication they were ever human.

"Guess so" stated Mavis reluctantly, her mind scattering as she felt her instinct come over her as her thoughts seemed to be changing. She realised she was losing her mind but figured it was for the best.

She moved her face forward as she rubbed against Brent's affectionately. The pair felt a tingle in their faces but continued regardless, enjoying the last affection they'd be able to comprehend. It seemed impossible to stop the transformation now as the affection the pair were feeling was like a cross between a new beginning and a bittersweet farewell.

As they parted, Brent began to feel his face stretching out into a muzzle. His ears disappeared as he felt his teeth change, matching what would be his new diet. He could sense his eyes darkening, his human intellect fading as his mind began to drift away, words becoming unintelligible to him as thoughts shifted to cow seals and ocean waves.

Mavis, noticing her husband had finished his transformation as he stared blankly at her, felt little point in resisting the changes as she felt her face begin to stretch out. She felt her whiskers growing out from where they had formed as her ears disappeared. Her teeth changed as her eyes began to darken. She very much resembled her husband, only smaller as she felt her mind begin to wither to be reborn as a seal.

"At least I'll still be able to perform...hopefully" was Mavis's last human thought as she could feel her mind becoming overwhelmed with the instincts of her new form. Routines were benign replaced by tricks as for a brief moment, she realised what future was in store for her as she resigned herself to her fate, a brief smile on her features as the seal took control, her eyes completely darkening as they sealed her change.

The new seals looked at each other with interest as they both felt a similar need. The temptation to mate was too great, as Mavis prepared herself.

Before Brent could mate with his wife, the seal formerly known as Aaron emerged from the water and barked loudly at Brent.

"Hold it right there...she's mine!" demanded Aaron as he eyed Brent, coming between him and Mavis as Brent could only stare for a brief moment.

Aaron was challenging Brent for rights to top seal and mating privileges amongst the pod.

Aaron moved towards Brent and tried to bite down on him, Brent moved and bit into Aaron who barked in pain, feeling disoriented for the moment as he halted his attack.

Brent swung Aaron into the pool, using his larger size to his advantage as he looked over the pool, trying to spot his opponent.

Aaron then surfaced as he proceeded to try to attack Brent again, Brent attacked again with his teeth as they stuck into Aaron, causing him to bark in pain as Brent bit down harder.

Brent eventually let go as Aaron decided at this point to back off, concede to Brent. He hoped he'd get another chance soon. He was desperate for a mate.

Brent looked back towards Mavis as the pair looked at each other again, intending on mating right then. Before they could, however, they heard someone clapping as they looked over. They could remember this woman slightly but didn't know why.

"Congratulations Brent" started Elizabeth, clapping softly as she continued "That was a spectacular contest, it was just like in the wild." Elizabeth noticed the seals had decided to ignore her as she pulled out her whistle. She blew on it, noticing the seals whimpering momentarily before they stared at her, completely under her control as she smiled.

"I'm glad I managed to add more seals to the Zoo," thought Elizabeth as she eyed the pair. "The female especially as it would allow the pod to expand but for now...I should let the new additions have some privacy" finished Elizabeth as she walked off, content with her work today.

Brent and Mavis noticed Elizabeth departing as they looked back at each other. The temptation was proving to be too much as Mavis presented herself to Brent, eager to get started as Brent appeared to be the same.

The enclosure would then be filled with honks coming from the new seals for the rest of the day.

Later that Night:

Elizabeth walked inside her house as she noticed Rebecca and Charlotte were sitting at the kitchen table. The pair seemed busy at work as Charlotte glanced at Elizabeth for a moment before returning to what she was doing.

"What're you looking at?" enquired Elizabeth, sitting down at the table as the pair stared at her.
"We're just planning our next steps. Our connections have indicated that someone called John is becoming suspicious of our scheme" explained Rebecca as she turned to Charlotte, nudging her to break her concentration as she turned to Elizabeth.

"We're comparing our Landlord's findings before we decide on a plan as the simple attempt didn't work" stated Charlotte as she returned to her work.

"This means...can you stop risking blowing our cover?" said Rebecca, irritation present in her voice as she stared at Elizabeth.

"What do you mean?" defended Elizabeth, not liking where this conversation was going.

"I'm talking about people like Jason" started Rebecca, taking a moment to eye Elizabeth's reaction before saying "We can't have you transforming people who we tell you not to transform!."

"If you're expecting me to apologise...forget it," said Elizabeth as she excused herself from the table. She began to head upstairs as Rebecca decided to ignore her, returning her attention to Charlotte.

"We need to wait for their next move...their next mistake" mumbled Charlotte as she turned to Rebecca before also excusing herself for the night.

Rebecca turned to look at the plan that Charlotte had written up. It looked promising as she smiled, feeling reassured that their victory would only be a matter of time!.

"That's all we need...time," thought Rebecca as she decided to get some sleep, knowing she would need it for the following day.
