It was a bright, shiny, early afternoon as Tyler looked towards the stone archways of the New Zoo.

Currently, Tyler was wearing a black polo shirt that complemented his short neat black hair. He wore a thin pair of glasses that lay over his aquamarine eyes, giving him a smart look fitting for his journalist position. A pair of sand yellow shorts hung from his waist. He had decided to wear something casual as he believed it would support his cover story for being at the Zoo today.

"Looks normal...although appearances can be deceiving" thought Tyler as he thought back to the day before. Well aware that his work colleague Patricia had planned to break into the Zoo in the evening. Her absence today had concerned him so Tyler decided to come and investigate himself.

"It seems as if something has gone wrong, I need to stay alert" mumbled Tyler, seriously considering whether he was going to go through with this. He checked his phone once more, deep down hoping that Patricia had gotten back to him.

The lack of any message caused Tyler's concern to return to the forefront of his mind.

"Perhaps she found something out and she's too excited to have gotten back to me," thought Tyler, trying to remain optimistic about his current situation. However, despite his best efforts, he couldn't help but consider the cynical implication of his thought.

"If she did find something...I guess our trust is one-sided" continued Tyler, feeling a sense of frustration before shaking the thought from his mind. "No, that can't be right," concluded Tyler, deciding now was a better time than any other to enter.

Tyler knew Patricia was very determined in her journalism and if she found out any important information, he would have been the first to know.

"At least I'd know quicker than Haley anyway" mused Tyler, recalling his annoying colleague briefly. Always after a typical gossip piece rather than, what Tyler considered, real journalism. Tyler then refocused his concentration, realising he could be walking into a trap of some kind.

"Hopefully, I'm just being paranoid but...it's worth investigating," said Tyler. He had left his camera, deciding it would have been too obvious. Therefore, he was depending on his phone today. He hoped to find any potential evidence of the strange rumours that had been circulating the Zoo.

"It's fortunate that a free pass came in the mail" thought Tyler, recalling it had been mailed to him recently. He figured it made a good cover story for his investigation...even if the timing seemed suspicious.

"I'll just..have to be careful" mumbled Tyler as he entered the Main Hallway. He looked over to the nearby Zebra enclosure, curiously eyeing the herd within.

The Zebras were grazing contentedly as Tyler looked inside. The Zebras didn't pay him any attention, except for the single foal which began to stare at him with intriguing curiosity. Tyler didn't feel as if much was amiss as he continued to stare at the small foal.

"This appears normal...perhaps Patricia didn't find anything?" considered Tyler. "This is feeling more like a fluff piece for Haley" mused Tyler, noting that Haley would certainly get some mileage out of milking the publicity of the New Zoo.

Tyler shook his head, debating whether he should leave as he began to turn away.

As he did, he noticed the rest of the Zebra herd looking at him. They appeared to be staring directly into his soul as Tyler felt a little uneasy. He moved back as he heard them suddenly bray at him. It sounded aggressive as Tyler felt rather confused. However, that confusion was quickly replaced with conviction.

"Ok, something must be going on here," thought Tyler bluntly, deciding to press on.

He needed to know the truth!

Tyler continued to wander down the Main Hallway, catching sight of many animals as he did so. He tried to hold back his unease at the stares he was receiving as he shot a glance, eying the nearby Panthers. The gleam in their eyes appeared rather mischievous. It was almost as if they had been expecting him.

"Ok, just move on Tyler," said Tyler to himself, trying to keep his nerves. His attempt was soon interrupted by a sudden trumpeting noise. Tyler couldn't help but jump slightly as he looked around.

"What the hell is going on?" wondered Tyler. He wandered within the Main Hallway, soon spotting the culprit responsible for startling him. To his surprise, the inhabitant didn't seem to react to his presence. After his earlier nervousness, this was a welcome change of pace for Tyler.

The Elephant appeared to be a female as it was drinking from a small lake in its enclosure. A few spots within the enclosure appeared damaged, giving the impression that the elephant was rather clumsy. A few branches on the trees within the enclosure had been cleanly plucked, implying the elephant was quite the glutton. The elephant soon ceased drinking from its small lake as it looked towards Tyler.

To Tyler's surprise, the expression he was receiving seemed more...sympathetic.

"Wait...I...recognise...Tyler?" thought the Elephant in confusion. Particia sensed a familiarity as she continued to stare at her colleague...her friend.

"Tyler? You need to leave!" said Patrica, trumpeting partially in her panic. Tyler had moved back slightly, discomfort on his face. "Wait Tyler, I..." started Patricia, losing her train of thought for a moment. She quickly realised her capacity for human thought was fading fast. Her eyes continued to darken as she noticed Tyler coming closer to her.

"She seems...unhappy," thought Tyler, noticing the look in, unknown to him, Patricia's eyes. The eyes seemed...full of sorrow. Patricia moved her trunk, placing it on Tyler's shoulder. She could feel her mind losing the battle against her new instincts. Nevertheless, she felt comforted by the touch. She could feel all the missed opportunities flowing within her mind, each chance to confess to Tyler. She could feel each one fading as her animal instincts were becoming dominant once more.

"Tyler...I love you" confessed Patricia as her eyes fully darkened over once more, sealing the girl's memories away within her new elephant form. She then moved away from Tyler, no longer able to comprehend the significance of the man. She approached one of the nearby trees, intending to feed.

"That...seemed familiar" wondered Tyler, curiosity filling within him. He considered the significance of what he had witnessed as his investigation was getting stranger all the time.

Unknown to Tyler, he was currently being watched. The woman was wearing a Zoo uniform and had short blond hair tied up in a braid. She was rather small, in comparison to Tyler, coming to his chest. She had a soft complexion as she continued to look at him.

"Ok, that was unusual," thought Elizabeth, trying to make sense of what she had just witnessed. It almost seemed as if Patricia had remembered who she was. "But, that's not possible...or is Rebecca hiding something from us?" wondered Elizabeth, groaning quietly in annoyance. Being locked out of the loop was becoming increasingly frustrating.

"I wonder if Charlotte is being treated the same?" mused Elizabeth, realising her companion had departed with Rebecca earlier on. "Somehow, I doubt it," admitted Elizabeth.

"Is she trying to turn us against each other? does Charlotte agree with Rebecca?" thought Elizabeth, recalling moments of her past for a brief moment before shrugging it off.
Now was not the time or place.

"Still, this anomaly shouldn't have happened" mumbled Elizabeth, her frustration at the various possibilities building up. "Should I tell the others?" continued Elizabeth, recalling the lack of respect she had been receiving recently. She took a glance at her feet, her lack of height irritating her once more as she made a decision.

"Forget it, if I'm not important enough outside of being a punching bag, then they don't need to know that this occurred" concluded Elizabeth, feeling her irritation grow. However, her senses returned to her, causing her to calm down as she recalled how she had been left to deal with Tyler.

The group had been aware of Tyler for quite some time. Charlotte had continued to browse the newspaper since the addition of the new geese within the Petting Zoo. Tyler had published several articles regarding the New Zoo...alongside how people had been going missing around its location.

Therefore, the Managers had decided he needed to be dealt with.

"Guess it's time to introduce myself, tie up a loose end and give Aaron a potential playmate," said Elizabeth, smiling menacingly for a moment before softening her expression. She walked towards Tyler, noticing him turning to face her. Elizabeth guessed he had heard her footsteps approaching

"Welcome to the New Zoo Tyler!" started Elizabeth, her expression enthusiastic and jovial. Internally, however, it was making her feel sick to her stomach.

"Hello..." replied Tyler, feeling a sense of scepticism as he eyed Elizabeth's smile. It appeared rather fake as he felt rather suspicious. He was sceptical of this woman's intentions as he knew that people had disappeared near the Zoo. His expression made one thing rather obvious to Elizabeth. Her small girl act, as recommended by Rebecca, wasn't working.

"Elizabeth, my name is Elizabeth" introduced Elizabeth, offering a handshake. Tyler looked at it for a moment, soon returning the shake as they looked at each other.

The silence was rather awkward as Elizabeth considered what to do. She hadn't expected Tyler to see through her facade so easily. Fortunately, Tyler saved the conversation as he presented a small piece of paper.

"Here's my free pass which I was sent," said Tyler, noticing Elizabeth's awkwardness as she looked at it. She still had an uneasy expression on her face as she agreed on something.

"Ok, screw the facade...might as well own this confidently," thought Elizabeth. She took a deep breath, regaining her composure as she turned back to face Tyler.

"Thank you for expressing your interest in our Zoo. I would be honoured if you could join me for a tour" said Elizabeth, her confidence unshakable as it seemed like night and day to her previous impression.

Tyler was taken a little aback, feeling unsure about this proposition. He recalled how the other animals reacted to him earlier. Nevertheless, he swallowed his doubt to maintain his cover. Who knows, it could help with his investigation into Patricia's whereabouts.

"Yes, I'd like that very much," said Tyler confidently, noticing Elizabeth nodding. She began to walk away. Despite his suspicions, Tyler followed her, taking one last look at the elephant as he did so.

"The elephant seemed rather uneasy earlier on," said Tyler, still feeling odd about what he had witnessed.

"We only recently acquired her...I guess she's still getting comfortable" replied Elizabeth.

"Even if that means destroying parts of the enclosure?" questioned Tyler, finding Elizabeth's change in behaviour increasingly puzzling.

"To us, it's an enclosure, to her, it's home" replied Elizabeth, heading towards a nearby staircase. "How about we start at my favourite part of the Zoo?" asked Elizabeth.

"Lead the way" replied Tyler, still feeling oddly uneasy about this whole situation. He felt unsure that what he was doing was the best way to find out the truth, but he was determined to do this.

For Patricia's sake if not his own.

"Ok...to the Stage!" called out Elizabeth, her tone filled with genuine excitement. Tyler was finding it harder to follow Elizabeth as she picked up the pace. Elizabeth began to head into the Outside Section as Tyler continued to follow, finding it easier to keep up.

Elizabeth smiled as she noticed Tyler behind her. She recalled how she had been training Aaron for a while after the others left. She was already planning how she could use this to her advantage.

"What a perfect opportunity," thought Elizabeth, struggling to hold her composure. She felt excited as she looked forward to adding to her collection.

At The Stage:

The pair arrived at the Stage, Tyler looked around. He saw the sun shining overhead, the heat causing Tyler to feel rather warm as he looked around. He was feeling rather suspicious of the circumstances. However, the heat was causing him to feel somewhat disoriented. He followed Elizabeth to the performance area, partially in a daze from the relentless sun.

"This is interesting...so they're planning to do shows?" thought Tyler, noticing the whole Stage had a rather extravagant appearance. He noticed nearby seating which had the appearance one would expect from a water park.

"So...why have you brought me here?" enquired Tyler, feeling rather curious as he turned to face Elizabeth. He failed to notice the sadistic smirk that Elizabeth was now wearing across her face. In addition, he didn't realise that something was approaching him from the nearby pool of water which surrounded the centre of the stage.

"We were just waiting for the star attraction to appear but now...we can get started" replied Elizabeth. She turned to face Tyler, her smirk visible as she blew her whistle. Tyler was disoriented by the noise for a brief moment as he stumbled, coming very close to the pool edge.

"We?" asked Tyler, feeling very confused. However, before he could react, he felt something splash up from behind him. He barely had time to see before he felt something grab him, pulling him into the water as Elizabeth giggled softly. In the struggle, Tyler's glasses had fallen off, sinking into the water.

Elizabeth then began to unbutton her shirt, pulling it off quickly. She quickly loosened her shorts as a dark blue swimming costume was revealed underneath. Her smile didn't fade as she observed Tyler. She slipped into the pool, finding the water invigorating as she waited for her new addition to come up.

Meanwhile, Tyler had felt a sudden chill upon contact with the water. This had soon been replaced with tingling all over his body. Unknown to Tyler, this was the start of his changes beginning as he noticed the surface above. He forced his way up to the surface, even as the tingling made it difficult to move his body. For some reason, his body was feeling rather bloated. His new blubber was beginning to take form as Tyler finally managed to reach the surface.

Tyler took a deep breath as he surfaced, greedily taking in air. As he did so, his body continued to swell, pushing against his clothes. He looked around, noticing what appeared to be Elizabeth staring at him nonchalantly.

"What...what's going on?" said Tyler, the tingling causing him to feel uncomfortable as his clothes were feeling tighter by the second.

"Well..." started Elizabeth, placing a finger against her chin. She was drawing out the suspense, noticing Tyler's expression of annoyance. Even as his body continued to swell, his annoyed expression remained. "My new star is getting too chubby for human clothes," remarked Elizabeth, smiling wickedly. She blew her whistle once more, the sound confusing Tyler.

Before Tyler could react, he heard a sudden barking. He turned, noticing a seal that barked in joy at the prospect of getting a new playmate. However, he began to nip around Tyler's clothing, trying to pull it away. The tingling left Tyler confused, unable to resist as he heard the tearing of clothing.

Soon, Tyler had been stripped down to the nude. He had swelled considerably, his frame appearing too bulky to be something on a human. He looked confusingly at Elizabeth. Elizabeth only waved in response as Tyler began to feel something pushing from his back.

Tyler began to feel his body tingle as he moaned in euphoria at the sensation. He felt something push out of his back, pressure building as he continued to moan. Eventually, it forced its way out of him. He screamed as the pressure ceased, he looked back and saw that he had a nice black dorsal fin protruding out of his spine.

"Wait...what?" wondered Tyler, staring at his new appendage in confusion. Before he could comprehend what was happening to him, he felt a tingling in his arms. He looked at his hands, watching as the fingers began to merge into a pointed nub. He watched as his arms seemed to stretch out, almost resembling...fins.

"Wait...I'm becoming a..." started Tyler, noticing his skin was beginning to darken, changing into an increasingly familiar black colouration. He could even feel the texture changing, becoming more slippery and streamlined for travelling in the water.

"Yes, my big guy, you're becoming an Orca whale!" said Elizabeth enthusiastically. She swam closer towards Tyler, noticing him trying to move back. However, his new limbs and increased weight were making it difficult for him to move as he could only stare at Elizabeth. "I look forward to having you show off your tricks...but first, we should finish you up" finished Elizabeth as she began to stroke Tyler, encouraging the changes to continue.

Tyler could feel the sensations becoming more intense. They seemed to be increasing in tempo as Elizabeth fed more magic into his changing form. Tyler felt an odd tingling in his neck. His vocals seemed to be changing, robbing Tyler of human speech as he screamed out. His screams were quickly replaced by a high pitched whale cry as Elizabeth beamed with pride.

"Don't worry Tyler, you're doing very well" reassured Elizabeth. She proceeded to stroke Tyler's skin as he could feel it beginning to change. He continued to cry out, his new whale cries being the only sound as his skin changed texture. His skin began to change, becoming mostly black with some spots of white. Tyler was momentarily distracted by the seal barking happily, eager to get a new playmate.

Almost immediate;y, Tyler felt a new change forming around his legs. He concluded the magic that Elizabeth was contributing was causing his changes to accelerate. He felt his feet crack as they forced themselves to the side, setting up the foundation for his developing tail. His legs began to push themselves together, new nerves forming as they started to merge. Tyler was finding it increasingly easy to stay afloat as his tail continued to form.

Soon, Tyler's tail had fully formed. He moved it around, finding himself having minimal difficulty in keeping afloat as he could feel the final changes coming over his face.

"Soon, we'll be having so much fun," said Elizabeth. Tyler took little notice of this, too focused on the changes occurring to his face to pay Elizabeth any mind.

Tyler cried out once more, only producing the same whale cry which was becoming increasingly familiar to him. Instincts began to take seed in his mind, that seal was looking more and more appetizing to the soon to be Orca as his face began to stretch out.

Tyler moaned as his face pushed out, stretching between his eyes as a muzzle formed. It pushed out, longer and longer as he felt his teeth shifting and changing. They soon matched the diet of his new species as the black and white skin began to spread across his face. His hair shed from his head as his mind tried tenaciously to hold on.

Soon, his face had fully stretched out, causing Tyler to perfectly resemble an Orca Whale. His mind was scattered, thoughts of being human mixed with the Orca as they were battling for dominance.

Unfortunately for Tyler, his human mind was losing the battle. He eyed the nearby seal, imagining how appetising it looked. His instincts were beginning to dominate his mind as his eyes began to darken. His human mind was being snuffed out as Tyler tried one last effort to hold on.

"I just hope Patrcia's ok," thought Tyler as his eyes fully darkened over. He was now an Orca Whale, physically and mentally.

The new whale gave out a cry as his transformation finalised. Elizabeth smiled in delight, he would be a great addition to the marine show.

"Perfect and now..." started Elizabeth, stopping as she noticed Tyler swimming away from her. She quickly noticed what was going on as Tyler moved towards the seal, planning to make it its meal. Elizabeth placed her whistle in her mouth and blew. The noise caused Tyler and the Seal to cry out in pain as Tyler became completely subservient to her whims.

"No, you will not eat this Seal!" shouted Elizabeth as she stared down the Whale. Tyler looked at her, she looked fierce. Tyler backed off from the seal, Elizabeth quickly regaining her composure.

"Good. Just remember big guy, we don't eat our friends" said Elizabeth reassuringly as she stroked Tyler's muzzle. She offered him a fish for his good behaviour which he gulped down greedily. Elizabeth smiled, enjoying the moment, reminding herself of better times.

"Ok Aaron, you're up!" shouted Elizabeth as Aaron complied, soon alongside Tyler. Elizabeth quickly headed to the performance area, grabbing a ball. She showed it to the pair before throwing it towards them. Aaron caught the ball first, batting it to Tyler. Tyler batted it back as the new friends continued to practice their new trick, eager to please their audience.

Elizabeth looked back at the pair as she smiled. She was glad that she had a new animal for her marine show and managed to get rid of a person suspicious of them at the same time.

"See...I can do something right" grumbled Elizabeth, her sarcasm obvious. The others were beginning to get on her nerves, especially Charlotte. She was beginning to feel very suspicious of her best friend.

Her thoughts were broken as the ball was batted towards her. Elizabeth noticed it down by her feet as Aaron and Tyler stared at her intently. Elizabeth considered it for a moment before shrugging.

"Might as well enjoy myself...make something worthwhile out of my predicament" concluded Elizabeth. She smiled, batting the ball back towards the pair as she entered the water once more. As the ball was batted back to her, she couldn't but smile.

"Still, life is kinda sweet," thought Elizabeth as she felt blissful, returning to join her marine animals for some playtime. There'd be time to worry later and right now, Elizabeth would rather have some fun.
