The group walks inside the Containment Facility to see so many different steel frozen boxes inside, and the place is all red with a pool of water dividing the room.
"Well, here we are...the Phantom containment facility," Vil says.
"This place is so huge," Briar says.
Sereia hides behind Briar, and Trinket hides in Briar's hair.
"And this place is very scary," Sereia says.
"Do all of those big metal cubes have Phantoms in them?" Epel asks.
Suddenly, they hear a familiar voice, "They sure do! Pretty neat, huh? The room's packed with Phantoms from all over the world. It's like monster city in here!"
Suddenly, the door seals tight, causing the group to turn to the shut door in shock.
Epel tries to open it, but it won't budge, "The door just shut! Rrgh... It won't open!"
"What?" Sereia asks, shocked.
Briar and Rook try to help Epel open the door, but they can't get the door open.
"We're locked in!" Briar cries out.
"I assume this is your doing, Ortho?" Vil says.
Just then, Ortho's hologram projection appears, and happily says, "Got it in one! So, how's the dungeoneering going? Having fun? Either way, it's time for your second trial."
"Second trial?" Sereia questions softly.
Even Trinket looks confused.
Ortho then explains, "You have to pass through this containment facility to get down to the next level. But in order to open the door, you'll need the right ID card. And before you even think about it... That ID card you got from our staff? I've already deregistered it. Using cheat codes your first time through would spoil half the fun, don't you think?"
"How very solicitous of you. I'm touched, "Vil comments.
Ortho continues, "Which brings me to your mission for this stage-a treasure hunt!
"Is that so?" Rook questions.
The rules are simple," Ortho says. "One of the Phantoms in these cages has the ID card that will get you out of here. So just find the Phantom and get the card!
This leaves everyone in shock.
"What?!" Briar asks, shocked.
Even Epel says, "You can't be serious. With all these cages, it'll be like looking for a needle in a haystack!"
"And the cages have Phantoms in there," Sereia adds, worried.
Ortho giggles, "Heh heh heh, I knew you'd say that. Since this is a beginner level, I'll give you a hint. Memorize the following cages."
The group watches as Ortho points to the following cages.
Ortho says, "That one there, there, and...there! The ID card is in one of those three. Best of luck, everyone!"
And soon the hologram is gone.
Vil turns to try to ID Card, but it's been declined, "...Well, Ortho wasn't kidding -our ID card brings up an error message when I try to use it."
"I guess that means we have no choice but to play Ortho's game," Briar says.
"Which means, we'll have to go through those cages," Serai says, worried.
Suddenly they hear a lot of growling coming from the boxed cages.
"That's a lot of scary noises right now..." Sereia says, frightened.
"Which means we'll be seeing a lot of Phantoms in the cages," Briar says.
Then Rook says, "Oh dear. The Phantoms have started to wake up."
"This may very well be a trap, but let's start with the cages Ortho pointed out," Vil says.
"I suppose we don't have any better options," Rook says.
