Being attacked by the Spear, the Titan screams, "GWAAAGH!"
"One more push, Riddle!" Azul says.
"Fire it with all you got!" Tanzanite says.
Riddle growls in anger, "Ye...argh..." and charges up the Thunder Spear more.
Soon, all three shout, "HAAAH!"
And Riddle fires the Thunder Spear's power at the Titan with full force.
The Titan screams, "GWAAAAGH! WRETCHED JUPITEEERRR!"
Soon, the Titan calls off the ledge and falls into the pits of Tartarus.
Once the battle is over, the three breathe heavily in exhaustion.
Just then, the navi says, "Thunder Spear batter low. 10% charge remaining. Please place in charing station."
"Did we get it this time...?" Azul asks.
"Hard to say. But surely we must have, right?" Riddle says, exhausted.
"I hope so," Tanzanite says.
Soon, Riddle collapses on his knees, "Hrgh..."
"Riddle!" Azul and Tanzanite say in shock.
"Are you hurt?" Azul asks.
"Are you okay?" Tanzanite adds, shocked.
"I'm fine..." Riddle answers, struggles to get up, "Just very low on magic and stamina. I've accumulated a lot of blot too..." and see the blot surrounding him on the ground.
"According to the map, there's a hangar a few flights down. We can take a break there," Azul says.
"Good. We should be able to charge the Thunder Spear as well," Riddle says.
"Then let's hurry. Azul, help Riddle. I'll carry the Thunder Spear," Tanzanite says.
"Good idea," Azul says, and helps Riddle up.
Then the pair begin to walk down the stairs to the Hanger. Tanzanite then uses his magic to lift the Thunder Spear, now that it's reduced in power. Then follows the others down stairs.
Soon enough, the three arrive in the Third Hanger.
"Tanzanite, can you put the Thunder Spear in the charging station?" Riddle asks.
"Sure Riddle," Tanzanite says.
Then Riddle says, "I don't think we have time to fully charge it, though. Let's give it an hour, then go."
"I'll barricade the door with ice, just to be safe. We should be able to relax for a bit," Azul says.
Tanzanite then does just that, and places the Thunder Spear on the charger.
Then Azul uses his magic to create an ice barricade to seal the door.
Once that's done, the three sit down in exhaustion, "WHEEW."
"I need to not move for a while," Azul says.
"I don't think I can move," Tanzanite says.
"Me too..." Riddle says.
"I bet the people back at school would never be able to guess what we're up to right now," Azul says.
"Even if we told them, I doubt they'd believe us. They'd just laugh it off and say we all had a collective nightmare or something," Riddle says.
"No kidding. No one will believe that we fought an ancient Phantom made of magma. Not to mention having to battle this many Phantoms in one location," Tanzanite adds.
"Seriously... Finding out that my clubmate is part of the Juniper Conglomerate, not to mention a Watchman of the Island of Woe... And then learning he's trying to reset the world... It's pretty unbelievable. But it's real, all right."
But then Riddle says, "Maybe to Idia and Ortho, this nightmarish situation is reality... and their life at school was more like a dream. One they'll forget as soon as they wake up."
"So the only way to get our reality back is to crush their dreams," Azul says.
"Does it upset you to fight them?" Riddle asks.
"Please. When we cross a bridge, you have to pay a toll. One has to make sacrifices to make their dreams a reality," Azul says. "Whether that means sacrificing a beautiful voice, money, time, or other people's dreams... It all depends on the time and situation, really. I have many dreams, and I'm not going to give up on any of them. Being valedictorian. Opening a second Monstro Lounge branch. Starting a delivery business. Selling tableware. Running a hotel..." Soon, Azul is starting to get very tired, "Getting into the leisure industry... Oh, and..."
And soon, Azul ends up leaning against Riddle.
"Come on, Azul. Why are you leaning on me?" Riddle questions, but soon realizes, "...Oh."
Azul has fallen asleep, and is snoring,
"...He'sl asleep," Riddle says. "Whatever happened to octopuses being wary and sensitive by nature? I thought you couldn't fall asleep in a place like this."
Azul snores in response.
Riddle then says to himself, "Making sacrifices for your dreams, huh..."
He suddenly feels something else leaning against his other side. He turns to see Tanzanite has fallen asleep.
Riddle sighs, "I suppose we're all tired from this. So it's best to get some sleep before continuing forward."
And with that, Riddle also closes his eyes for a nap.
