The three then begin to work on finding the ID Card in one of the cages. They start with the cage that is labeled, "PTM-25111".

"What if we knock on the cage and see if the Phantom responds?" Azul suggests.

"It sounds as good a plan as any," Tanzanite says.

"Alright, give it a shot," Riddle says.

Azul walks over to the cubed cage and knocks on it. And ends up with a loud THUMP in response, causing the boys to get startled.

"This one... might be dangerous," Azul says.

"We might as well declare war on them at this point! I should've just destroyed the cage to start with!" Riddle says.

"Spoken like someone with magic to burn. I could never waste my reserves like that," Azul says.

"If you can still trade barbs, I'm sure you'll do just fine," Riddle says. Get ready, here it comes!"

Tanzanite and Azul bring out their magepens and are ready to fight. Riddle does the same and uses his magic to bust the cage open, and soon meet face to face with the Phantom. The Phantom begins its attack, but the three are quick and fire the attacks as they dodge the Phantom's attack. The three continue to battle until the Phantom has been defeated and it dissolves into a puddle. So far, they can't find any ID Card.

"Whew... No ID card on that Phantom," Azul says.

"Let that be a lesson to you, Azul. You were overcautious, and it gave the enemy a chance to react," Rizzle says.

But Azul says, "I still think it's better than the brute-force option."

"Do you take issue with my methods?" Riddle questions.

"Working with you has given me fresh insight into the travails of Heartslabyul students," Azul says.

"What was that? I didn't quite hear you," Riddle questions with a frown, then says, "Let's move on, shall we?"

"Certainly. I'll be counting on you, Riddle," Azul says.

"Come on guys, let's go," Tanzanite says, and walks to the next cage.

The cage is labeled, "PTM-17561"

Riddle says, "Stand back Tanzanite."

Tanzanite does just that and Riddle casts magic, "Hrah!"

And with that, Riddle casts his magic at the cage and a hole has been burst through it.

Riddle, you can't just blast the cage door open like that! What if the Phantom ends up being too much for us to handle?!" Azul cries out.

"That doesn't matter," Riddle says, "How are we supposed to find the ID card if we don't face it?"

"Unbelievable," Azul mutters with a sigh, "I'm appalled that someone so mindless is at the top of our class."

"What was that?" Riddle questions.

Suddenly, they hear a growling sound, "Grrr..."

And the Phantom comes out.

"It's the Phantom," Tanzanite says.

"Heads up, it's coming!" Azul says.

Soon, the three act fast and fire their magic at the Phantom. The three continue to fire their magic and counter the attack. Soon, the Phantom has been defeated and it melted into a puddle.

"I don't think this Phantom had the card either," Riddle says.

"It appears so," Tanzanite says.

But Azul says to Riddle, "Riddle, please try to practice a MODICUM of caution. My heart can't take any more of this."

If you're scared, you're welcome to go hide. I won't be cowed by any Phantom," Riddle says.

"Excuse me, I resent that implication," Azul says, frustrated, "I never said I was scared. I just don't want things to spiral out of control."

"Now now guys, there's no reason to argue with each other. We need to search for the ID Card," Tanzanite says, and walks to the last box, "We still got this one."

They walk to the cage that is labeled, "PTM 11769".

"I must hand it to whoever designed these cages... Nothing short of a major blast has any effect on them," Azul says.

"I agree. The cage seems very hard, like steel," Tanzanite says.

And with that, the cage has been banging and thumping a lot.

"Hey! There's a Phantom moving around in this cage," Riddle says, and brings out his magepen, "I'll blow it open with magic. Azul, Tanzanite, get back."

"Alright," Tanzanite says.

"Again, telling me to stay back... Not that I really mind, I suppose," Azul says, sounding a bit annoyed.

"Here goes. HRAH!" Riddle says and casts his magic at the cage.

And with a burst of magic, the cage is burst through and a hole is on it.

Soon, the Phantom jumps out and lets out a roar, "GWAAAGH!"

"Heads up, it's coming!" Riddle says.

Azul and Tanzanite prepare the attack.

The three then begin battling against a large Phantom. They continue to blast their magic at the Phantom, and since it's a big one, it's proven to be difficult. However, the three are not giving up and continue to fight off the Phantom until it's defeated.

The Phantom cries out, "AAAGH!" and it dissolves into a puddle.

And soon, the ID Card falls to the ground.

"The Phantom dropped something..." Azul says.

Soon, Tanzanite looks at it, "Look..."

Azul looks to see what's on the ground, "Aha! It's the ID card!"

"Excellent. That was surprisingly quick," Riddle says.

Suddenly, they hear more growling, "GRrr... Rrrr..."

"More of them are growling now..." Riddle says.

Tanzanite says, "The other Phantoms must be starting to wake up."

"Let's get out of here," Riddle says.

"I second that," Azul says.

"Yes. Let's hurry," Tanzanite says.

And with that, the three rush to the door. Riddle then uses the ID Card to help open the door and the three hurry out before the Phantoms can get out of the cages and get out.
