Jamil, Leona, and Jasper begin to fight against the Phantoms. Because they are not as big as Jamil and Leona, the three are able to defeat the phantoms.
"The Phantoms turned into black liquid..." Jamil says, confused, "It's blot."
"Blech. It looks really gross," Jasper says in disgust.
Soon, Leona begins to approach it.
Jamil calls out, "Leona! Don't get too close! It could contaminate you!"
"Tch. I don't need you lecturin' me," Leona says, annoyed. Seeing the blot, Leona says, "Ugh, it turns my stomach. Just lookin' at that stuff makes my hair stand on end."
"It spread out like ink, contaminating all it touched, then dried up and faded away," Jamil says. "...We might've been no different if we'd stayed overblotted."
Leona remains silent for a minute and says, "Every mage gets blot contamination. Especially the reckless and powerful ones. 'I'll go in alone and check it out'? Sounds like someone's real sure of themselves."
"I took the most appropriate course of action. Emergency situations call for extra caution," Jamil says. He then looks at the map and says, "According to the map, there's a Phantom containment area just through that door. The creatures we ran into might've come from there. We don't know how many Phantoms we'll encounter or how strong they'll be. I would appreciate if you'd avoid doing anything to endanger yourself- or more to the point, all three of us."
"I'm going to have to agree on that. That stuff is really gross, I wouldn't even want to get near it," Jasper says.
Suddenly, Leona sighs, "Wow... You must be really shakin' in your boots, herbivore."
"What?! I am not! I'm trying to compensate for your recklessness!" Jamil says, trying to reason with Leona.
"Oh yeah? Fine, suit yourself," Leona says, and walks off.
"I will, thank you very much," Jamil says.
Jasper lets out a sigh in response.
Soon, the three boys walk off to the facility where the Phantoms are.
