Seeing the monster has caught them off guard, and the monster doesn't seem too happy to see them.
"What in tarnation is that mountainous rock monster?!" Epel exclaims in fright.
"Could that be one of the original Phantoms?!" Vil asks.
"I think you're right. That must be the Phantom of Stone that the Stax staff told us about. The Earth Titan," Briar says.
"It matches the description the staff in the control room gave us," Rook says.
"It's... it's huge," Sereia says, frightened.
Even Trinket is frightened to see the giant Phantom.
"I'll slow it down," Vil says, "O ice, freeze that monster's feet to the ground!" and casts his magic at the monster's feet, "Hah!"
But the Earth Titan lets out a, "GWAAARGH!" and shakes off Vil's magic like it's nothing.
"Dang... It shook off Vil's spell like it was nothin'!" Epel says.
Suddenly, the Titan shouts, "JUUUPITEEER! WHERE ARE YOU?!"
"Rgh..." Vil says, expressing his frustration, "We'd better retreat! The map Says the Thunder Spear hangar's just up ahead!"
"Oui! I shall cover the rear. Everyone, to the hangar!" Rook says.
Everyone then hurries down the stairs to get away from the Earth Titan. However, the Earth Titan begins to chase after them.
Briar turns back and is shocked, "It's after us!"
But Vil notices the door, "There it is now!"
"Briar, Rook, hurry up!" Epel cries out.
"We're trying!" Briar says.
Briar and Rook quickly open the door to the hanger and everyone runs inside. Once inside the hanger, Briar and Rook quickly close the door and make sure that it's locked.
"That was close," Sereia says.
"A little too close," Briar says.
Just then, they hear the door banging.
"The door's shaking somethin' fierce. Is the Titan ramming into it?!" Epel asks, shocked.
The banginging continues and it doesn't seem that the door can hold for very long.
"Aw, crud! It's gonna break it down!" Epel says, shocked.
"We need to find that Spear! Fast!" Briar says.
Soon, everyone begins to search around for the Thunder Spear to use against the Titan.
Rook looks around the room, "Where is the Thunder Spear?"
"I'm looking!" Vil says, searching around and says, "Let's see, there's a control panel on the wall at A-16..."
Vil soon finds the control panel and begins to type on it. Then they hear something.
"I heard something open," Rook says.
Briar turns to notice, "Look, there's something glowing in there!"
Everyone turns to see a bright glowing object in the compartment that is opening.
"Gosh..." Epel says, surprised.
"Oh my," Sereia adds.
What appears before them is a large spear, looking like it is made of gold and silver, but also shows some high tech.
"So this is it... The Thunder Spear!" Vil says.
"It's so big!" Sereia says.
"That thing's taller than Vil! How're we supposed to use a spear that big?" Epel asks.
Suddenly, the door continues to get banged as the Titan screams, "GWAAARGH! COME OOOUT!"
"No time to puzzle it out. Let's just activate it!" Vil says.
Vil then uses the keychain the technician has given them before, and inserts it into the Spear.
The Navi on the Spear says, "Code: Titanomachia. Critical outbreak of level A emergency recognized. All techno-mantic circuits released. Charge level at 100%. Activating Thunder Spear."
And with that, the spear activities as it begins to glow and a large ring appears around it. What's more, it looks like the Spear is emitting lightning.
Rook says in amazement, "Gracious... The amount of power it exudes. I'm getting goosebumps!"
Then the Navi on the device says, "Place your hand on the panel."
They soon hear more banging and turn to see the door shows large dents and signs that it's about to burst.
Epel cries out, "Vil, hurry! The door ain't gonna hold much longer!"
"I'm well aware!" Vil shouts.
Vil then places his fingerprint on the scanner.
Then the Navi says, "User registration complete. Safety lock released. Activating targeting support mode."
With the Spear activated, Vil tries to lift it up, "Rgh.. It's heavy! I'll have to levitate it with magic..." And with that, Vil uses his magic to lift it up.
Just then, the doors have been forced open and the Titian begins to climb inside.
The Titian shouts, "WHERE ARE THE HUMANS?! GWAAARGH!
"The Titan's in the hangar!" Rook says.
Struggling to hold on, Vil says, "Argh! I'm trying to control this thing with magic, but it's too powerful. I can't get it steady!"
"We're going to have to work together to get rid of this thing!" Briar says.
"I agree,"
Sereia, Trinket, you two stand back," Vil says.
"Okay," Sereia says.
Trinket nods and leaves Briar's pocket. Trinket and Sereia and gets to the farther part of the room, away from the Titan.
Vil then turns to the others, "Epel, Briar, you two and I will hold it in place."
"Right!" Epel says.
"We're on it," Briar says.
"Rook, you aim it!" Vil says.
"Oui!" Rook says, "A hunter could ill afford to disappoint in that regard. Let the Titan hunt begin!"
Epel and Briar then cast their magic and help Vil lift up the Spear. Rook then holds the Spear and aims it towards the Titan.
"We're locked on the target," Rook says.
"Epel and I got the thing Thunder Spear steady!" Briar says.
"Vil... we're ready!" Epel says.
"Right!" Vil says.
Then activates the Thunder Spear, "Take this!"
The Thunder Spear soon fires at the Earth Titan and the Thunder Spear's power is so strong that all four of them have to hold on to it with all their might.
