Arriving in the next containment facility, Azul is still very furious with Riddle for how he acted.
Azul mutters under breath, "Don't go out in front. Don't get hurt. What kind of weakling does he think I am?! I've had it up to here with the teapot tyrant."
Just then, Ortho's hologram appears in the room and says, "Welcome to your third trial, adventurers!" But soon notices, "...Hey, wait a minute. Is it just you, Azul Ashengrotto? Where's Riddle Rosehearts and Tanzanite?"
"Who's to say? And I hope YOU'RE not also suggesting i can't do anything by myself," Azul questions with a frown.
Soon enough, Riddle and Tanzanite are able to catch up and run inside the facility to find Azul.
Riddle calls out, "AZUL! Stop right there! I'll have your head if you don't!"
Azul huffs, "Hmph. I'd like to see you try. I'm confident I could take you even without magic. My arms are quite powerful, unlike yours."
"Wha.. Are you saying I'm feeble?!" Riddle questions angrily.
"If the shoe fits..." Azul replies, "Oh, but I must be careful. You might knock me out cold if you headbutt me.... Seeing as your head is harder than a diamond!"
This has Riddle in a rage, "YEEEAAARGH!" that his face turns red.
Tanzanite quickly gets between them, "Come on guys, this is no time for you both to argue, or to risk attacking each other.
"Wuh-oh. Looks like things have gotten worse between you two with Tanzanite caught in the middle," Ortho says, "Not that it matters to me, but if you keep yelling at each other, you might miss the big hint."
"What hint?" Azul asks.
"What do you mean by that?" Tanzanite asks, concerned.
Suddenly they hear a voice, "Help... Help me...!" and it sounds like a woman.
The three boys are soon shocked to hear the voice.
"Is that a woman's voice?" Riddle asks, concerned.
Ortho laughs, "Heh heh heh. Save the NPC, and they'll give you the item you need to progress. Basic game design."
"What? Ortho, that's taking this game a little too far," Tanzanite says.
But Ortho ignores him, "So get it together, boys. This is no time for fighting. Something bad might happen to her if you don't act fast!"
The researcher cries out, "Someone... Get me out of here!"
"Is she trapped in one of the cages?" Azul questions.
This upsets Riddle as well, "How could they do this?!" And calls out for the woman, "Ma'am, we're going to get you out. Please knock on your cage so we know which one it is!"
The researcher calls out, "I can't... It's too dark to really see, but I can tell there's a Phantom in here with me!"
"What?!" The three boys cry out in shock.
"It's still frozen, but it'll wake up if I make too much noise..." The researcher calls out.
"All right. Stay quiet and try not to agitate it," Azul calls out.
"Don't worry, we'll get you out," Tanzanite adds.
Soon, Ortho says, "Our adventurers are really in a pickle now! Will they be able to overcome this crisis? Best of luck, gentlemen!"
And then, the hologram disappears without a second thought.
Wait" Riddle shouts in anger, but the hologram is gone.
He growls in anger, "! Grr... I've had it up to here with his insolence."
But Azul tries to calm him down, "Riddle, we don't have time for righteous indignation."
"You're right. Let's get her out as quick as we can!" Riddle says.
