After a short time playing the game, Jamil won it.
"There. How's that?" Jamil says sternly.
"A solid high score! Your experience speaks volumes," Ortho happily says, "I hope you blaze through the Tartarus dungeon missions the same way."
"Wait, there are missions?" Jamil questions.
"Yup!" Ortho happily says.
"What are you talking about now?" Jasper questions.
Ortho explains, "Past this point is a hard-mode dungeon filled with Phantoms. So proceed carefully and try to avoid encounters with high-level monsters."
"I don't care what we encounter," Leona says, annoyed, "We're gonna get to you guys and rip out BOTH your manes. Just you wait. Better have some bandages ready."
"...Oh yes. My brother and I will be waiting for you," Ortho says, "We're really, REALLY looking forward to this, after all."
Soon, the elevator reaches the floor and it opens.
"'Looking forward tot this?' Now he's just mocking us," Leona says.
"No kidding," Jasper mutters, annoyed.
"That's for sure," Jamil agrees, "And he called Tartarus a hard-mode dungeon? This isn't some video game."
"Does that make us characters he's controlling? That's pretty funny," Leona replies.
"I don't find it so funny," Jasper says.
Jamil turns to see the elevator, "The elevator's stopped. Let's continue down the stairs, with caution. There's no telling what might happen next. Make sure you both stay close."
"Sure," Jasper says.
Leona remains silent.
