"How is the training going?"

Dan Heng almost destroyed the book and Ryu flinched, to then smile nervously next to him. Blade had a smirk as his red eyes were focus on the half dragon, who ignored the stare.

"It's going... alright!"

"Yes, perfectly fine, maybe because I have my loyal friend to spend the days with instead of Your Highness as your presence is so majestic to cover the little light of my power" Dan Heng smiled innocently

"Indeed, back to the sanctuary we used to pass a lot of time together" Ryu lied and Dan Heng smiled

"Indeed" Dan Heng sighed "I got back so many memories thanks to him" he smiled innocently and Blade smirked

"So, what about the healing?"

"I can... do.. something" he whispered and Blade was amused.

He leant closer to him "You can... what?" he asked and Ryu cleared his throat, having no idea what to do, because the Prince had his lips close to Dan Heng's cheek. Those red eyes were looking at Dan Heng like a lion with a rabbit.

Ryu and Dan Heng put up a big fake story behind in order to protect themselves but specially Ryu since he has theorically lied about the main rule of the Prince and every manor of the land.

If Blade would have discovered that Ryu wasn't even officially a Priest and so he had no magic contract to refrain himself from touching the Imbibitor, his death was easy to foresee.

Ryu didn't expect the Imbibitor to actually cover for him, but only for that reason he swore loyalty to Dan Heng as he did basically owe him his life

"I think you're a big liar" Blade smiled to then punch the table near him "The nobles will be here tonight"

"So what? I am not a performer" Dan Heng crossed his hands and Blade left a glance to his guards, that soon literally kicked Ryu out.

Dan Heng looked for a moment lost as Ryu wasn't close anymore. In the week they did pass all the days together and managed to know a lot about them.

Ryu was a troublemaker and used to be a cook before trying to help his family better by devoting his life to the sanctuary and manage to get the golden opportunity to get in the sanctuary. He was full of funny jokes and since he wasn't noble, he could be even rude just like Dan Heng.

Dan Heng felt he had one of his college collegue next to him, that's why his eyes were looking at Ryu with full of trust and actually happiness as he was friendly.

Since they were sleeping in the same room, Ryu would always take a lot of his time to talk about his family and his friends he left. Dan Heng would feel sad but then he would laugh at Ryu telling him some funny things he used to do before that whole mess.

"Dan Heng." Blade called him back "Did you find out or not? It's been a week."

"I can do something..." He grabbed Blade's hand and the Prince flinched confused "But it's not much..." he was embarassed as he closed his eyes and tried to focus.

The way is healing power was working was weird. Ryu once told him one of the Imbibitor's quotes was something like "If you want to help someone stand up again, then you gotta believe with your soul you can" and shit like that.

The Imbibitor was basically an hippie like: "Oh nono, it's not that I do have a strong power myself, I jUSt bEliEvE I cAn hELp and ZaM herE YoU Go"

If it was about willing, Dan Heng was lacking of any interest to show or healing. But he tried his best to show off what he could archieved with Ryu cheering for him for a seven days straight.
