Evias was happily enjoying a stroll in the city, followed by some druid apprentices, holding their books and listening to the High Druid's teaching.

Everyone knew the High Druids were known to be the wisdom of all the ancient spells and not-so-lost culture. Evias has seen entire kingdom burn and new ones born along with his people, who have always been neutral, pretty pacific. The only bond they had was with nature. The humans they were happily welcome in their cities were known to be just "passerby" in their long lives.

But since Evias fell in love with Fenir, all the druids appeared concerned as the way his blue eyes were shining when thinking or talking about him. But it was still his life and decision.

He suddendly felt like Alyne was the perfect city. He loved taking strolls in the city with the hope to find sometimes Fenir, but he soon noticed it wasn't easy at all.

Fenir was somehow never in his way...

...

Evias was trembling.

His blue eyes were opened up as he was looking at the human he kissed some days ago, getting out the famous Tea House of Alyne's city, followed by a beautiful lady, who was even hugging him. Fenir's eyes were full of love and those arms were holding her so tight.

He really felt weird. Why did Fenir kiss him that day? Or gifted him the novel? Wasn't he courting? Weren't they courting each others? Then why the hell was he getting out from a Tea House followed by that Lady?!

He sighed heavily and closed his eyes, trying to get a hold of himself. He was an High Druid, he couldn't just outburst and call out an army of birds in the city. It was weird.

He felt so sure in his heart he found his soulmate, but maybe it was just him? After all the other druids used to remind him it's highly unlikely to find a soulmate who isn't a druid himself as they're long-life speciemen, but Evias truly believed in his feelings.

Until then.

The sight of Fenir hugging in daylight that beautiful lady made him realize that maybe... He was just building up a whole romance just in his head?

Maybe it was right, maybe Fenir's fate was to be with a human just like him and not with a druid.

His head was full of thoughts and he felt even his eyes teary when Fenir leant a little to kiss her forehead.

Evias turned to move fast away but he bumped against a merchant who opened up his eyes when he noticed the High Druid on the ground "OH GODS... FORGIVE ME HIGH DRUID" he shouted lending him a hand to help him stand up

In that moment Fenir and Ayrin turned and the man opened up his eyes at the sight of Evias on the ground

"Evias?" he whispered to then notice the High Druid with red cheeks and teary eyes looking at him from the distance "Huh?" he was confused... He then looked at himself and Ayrin still close and then Evias "Oh... EVIAS" he noticed the druid standing up and literally running away

"Arrgh! This is so embarassing" he cried out as he ran away with Fenir calling out his name.

"Evias! Wait! It's a misunderstanding!" Fenir shouted, having no shame as the two were running around the city, making some people turn, and also some druids.

Evias' blue eyes shined for a moment and Fenir felt a breeze almost pushing him away and some birds chasing him down, they definitely looked mad, but they weren't even hitting him, because the druid asked not to even dare tickle his beautiful face. He just wanted to die of embarassment alone because of his delusional self.
