"Do you happen to fall asleep many times in the forest?"

Fenir opened a little his eyes, disturbed by some sun rays and also a warm voice, waking him from his little moment of rest out of the workshop. He felt his heart almost out of his chest as he noticed Evias was standing, and leaning a little towards his face, making some of his long brown hair touch almost his cheek.

If that was a dream, Fenir wanted to stay like that forever.

But he soon realised that it wasn't. Evias tilted a little the head as he noticed the human wasn't still replying to him.

He stepped back a little as Fenir stand up "Oh... I was resting my eyes, but apparently... I... fell asleep" he muttered to then bow "I apologise" he cleaned as always his hands on his own shirt, cursing himself. Why did he always have to meet that druid in that awful and unworthy look?

Evias crossed his arms and sighed "You really never change, Fenir. We did introduce each others some days ago, you shouldn't talk this formal to me" he said to then grab something from his pouch hanging by his hips "Here, drink some"

Fenir looked at the canteen and then Evias. He drank the cold water inside and Evias smiled proudly "It's a water I myself did gather, you know? It comes from the mountain of one of our temples by the border of the Holy Lands" Evias was speaking and Fenir felt like spitting the water feeling like he was drinking pure gold from how the druid was talking about it. He was trembling like how could he just drink it normally like that? It was pure, refreshing...

Evias smiled to then notice Fenir with his red eyes opened up "Are you okay?" he asked and Fenir coughed a little to then handle him the canteen

"Yes... Thank you, Evias" he smiled a little and Evias blushed awfully fast with that simple interaction.

If there was something Fenir wasn't seeing, was how Evias was easily blushing whenever the human would speak calmly and at ease. There was something about the way he was that Evias was always happy to meet him.

Nothing was planned, but Evias wasn't wasting any opportunity whenever he had one.

Fenir had a muscular, toned body; result of the hard training and those awful years in the army, but also result of his hard working everyday with materials and the forge. On the other side, Evias was... thin, soft, he looked fragile compared to Fenir.

"Uhm.." Fenir stroke his blonde hair "Why... are you... here?" he asked, looking away, trying not to make him see how nervous he was and Evias did giggle a little

"It's the forest! I was just taking a stroll and check on my friends. But no novels today!" his smile was lively "I hadn't time to buy any, I came back from that commission near the Holy Lands and the druids are killing me with things to do here" he sighed, walking further in the forest path.

Fenir didn't know if he wanted him to follow him or not, but he was talking and it was rude to just let him go and talk alone... no? So in the end the blacksmith walked next to him to keep up with his speech.

"I also have this baby... He doesn't talk much, but he's sleeping in my quarters in the temple. He has red eyes similar to yours. Little Theo is such a devil, he wouldn't let me sleep even a little" he sighed and Fenir coughed a little

"That's my... little brother"

Evias opened up his eyes and froze on spot. He turned a little towards Fenir and smiled a little "W-well, did I say devil? Oh no, he's really cute, sleep? I mean, who needs sleep? I am a druid, I was just messing around" he laughed innocently at his own words and Fenir couldn't help but laugh, surprised deep in his heart on how... simple Evias would look. He was kind, and gentle, even though he was in the upper, highest class in that city.
