40. I Will Wait for You

"Your sister and brother can't be rescued if that's what you were trying to do"

Fenir stand up, feeling his whole body exhausted still. The woman had long silver hair and beautiful golden eyes. She was caressing Theo's forehead standing next to Ayrin surrounded by many candles.

"I think you got enough of the scent" she spoke to then look at Fenir and stand up.

"Who are you?" Fenir repeated to then show himself surprised as the woman sat next to him after she took a plate of warm soup and gave it to him.

"Eat. You're big and muscolar yet you did faint because you didn't eat for what? Give the food to Ayrin and Theo even when basically dead?" she asked annoyed and Fenir felt confused

"How do you know their names.." he asked as he was eating the soup like it was something so delicious, but truly he was really starving, he needed energies and avoid to faint another time.

He really hadn't time to waste.

"Humans mind are easy to read when the human himself is so weak" she spoke and Fenir froze on spot when he noticed her eyes glowing for a moment and her lips curving in a smirk.

"No... The darkness demons" he whispered to then cough, feeling some of the soup in his windpipes and the woman crossed her arms amused by his reaction.

"Calm down, you've been away from the Holy Lands for so long, yet you behave like we are truly enemies or monsters like those useless priests" she sighed "Don't you think I would have drank you dry already?" she asked and Fenir had no idea what to think about in that moment

"Why did you help me and why did you..."

"You know, vampires aren't beasts..." she spoke, standing up and looking still at Theo and Ayrin "I have read your mind... You didn't even sense me following you since you entered in the village" she laughed a little "I have seen what you've done and what happened to you. I already sent some of my friends announcing your arrival"

Fenir was confused "Arrival... where? I don't know what you're talking about but I have to find a healer" he stopped as he noticed the vampire laughing, humming an happy song

"How naive can you be" she came closer to Fenir, who felt mesmerized by her eyes as her hand laid on his cheek, caressing "Your brother and sister... have maybe last few days before their souls will be chained with the death flower and trust me" she looked away "The Holy Priests tried many times to poison us with those... I know its effect" she held tight his chin, making him grit his teeth "You're their older brother yet you failed so hard... That's how you feel, right?"

Fenir broke free from her grasp and stand up, getting some distance "Stop reading my damn mind! I have... I have no fucking time for this!" he shouted and the vampire laughed, sitting on her couch

"I agree that's why I sent the new of your arrival" she said with an obvious tone and Fenir laid the hand on his own forehead, feeling headache

"What arrival... Where?"

"To the Master of Vampire's manor."

Fenir opened up his eyes "Why the hell should I go there? I am not willing to kill myself! I have to heal my brother and sister and... get my husband... back.. .Ah.. Evias" he felt his own heart beating so fast, full of fear at the thought of him being mistreated by that awful man

"The Death Flowers are indeed such a poison for all the living creatures in this world... But vampires. As we live on such a thin line between life and death forever..." she explained to then lock her eyes on him "If you really want to save your dear brother and sister, then maybe... you should consider going there and do something you're so good at" she tilted her head amused "Beg"
