I haven't prepared a special for Christmas and the New Year, so here you go the new chapter <3.

Maybe next year if we're all here *puppy eyes* (rapper mic drop because I have done rhyme eksde)

"That could be troublesome, Evias" Fenir was leaning by the wall as his husband was sat on the wooden table of their kitchen, with the hairpin Dan Heng gave him "Selling a Royal Family trinket will get us attentions from the wrong people"

Evias nodded a little "But he did seek for help" he said "I can't let him stay in your sister's tea house forever, he looked like he was begging me to find him a quiet place"

"He's probably that... Tayu from his Highness Haru, rumours of his escape were going round villages for quite a bit" Fenir said with an obvious tone and Evias sighed annoyed.

"Probably, since usually these hairpins are very expensive and his Higness Haru is known to... chain lovers with expensive gifts" he kept touching the hairpin to then sigh "Should we notify the guards?"

Fenir tilted his head to then sigh and get closer to him "Why do you look so troubled? We promised not to get in trouble and if the royal family knows we helped someone who escaped from one of the Emperor's crazy sons, we will be executed" he caressed the druids cheeks "I don't want us to get hurt, Evias"

The druid kissed him to then lower a little his gaze "I know but he looked so scared and he asked me for help, Fenir" he did insist "I can't put a creature in trouble! I am a druid! My priority is the creatures!" his blue eyes got back the frames of the half dragon looking at him still in panic. He could still feel his fear back in the forest. He was at the edge of crying, the Forest literally reached out for Evias to save him, why did he have to sell him back to the Emperor?

He wasn't even sure he was Haru's Tayu.

"You don't even know his name, yet"

Evias sighed "He said his name is Caelus, but I know the eyes of a liar" he crossed his arms as he noticed Fenir rolling his eyes "What? It's normal to lie when hiding? He still has to trust me, I know!"

Fenir sighed heavily to then grab the hairpin and touch the gems "I can... get the gems out and melt the ore to craft something else" he muttered as he was studying the accessory under the druid's surprised stare.

"Oh! Does this mean my husband will help me?" he asked with a big smile and Fenir smirked a little "What's with that stare now?"

Fenir laid the hairpin on the side to then block Evias on their kitchen wooden table by laying the hands on the sides near the hips "This will sell for a lot, I expect my husband to give me back some attentions once the rescue plan is done without him getting in jail, where my hands can't reach him"

Evias did giggle a little as Fenir leant to kiss his neck slowly till reaching the lips "Okay okay, I will..." he crossed the arms around his backneck and pulled him even closer "Thank you, love" he said softly and Fenir caressed his hair to then kiss his forehead.

"Caelus... CAELUS!" Only when the woman hit Dan Heng, he actually turned

"BROO" he shouted annoyed to then smile innocently "I mean, Lady Ayrin I am sorry, I was lost in my thoughts" he said to then almost fall once again on his tail, making the tea spill on the floor.

Ayrin looked at the clumsy dragon and sighed "I swore to Evias I would have given you a job and a place to stay but..." Dan Heng smiled innocently to then insult his own tail and cry out in place "It's harder than I thought. My brother's husband has... weird friends."
