12. Don't Go Away this Time

Dan Heng blinked and in no time the plain of flowers disappeared in thausands little golden lights "Ryu?!" he asked between the hiccups and Ryu was still with his head on his lap.

"You saved me..?" Ryu touched his throat feeling nothing, nothing was hurting. He felt alive, he smiled "Imbibitor, you saved me... Dan Heng, you saved me" he whispered "Damn, you did it in the end" he whispered as he knew he technically still had a long way to heal properly. It was clearly surprising and in his heart he was happy.

"I... I did... Ryu" he cried even more breaking everyone's heart. It was just... a desperate crying, he couldn't stop.

"You're ugly from down here"

Dan Heng laughed as he was crying so loud. Ryu stand a little, feeling worried and held his wrist, standing a little closer to him. His green eyes were looking at the blue shiny eyes "Dan Heng, I am fine" he repeated

Dan Heng cried even louder to then hug him tight "I wish... I could have done it too... If I only was powerful like I am here" he cried and Ryu didn't know what was he talking about of course.

"What are you talking about..." Ryu did pat a little his back "You're strong, Dan Heng, you did amazing" he said to then hear his own voice crack "Don't make me cry too, I am sensible"

"That was brilliant!" Haru exclaimed to then look at the few people who stayed "You did assist indeed at how powerful of a healer the Imbibitor is! I got shivers!"

Blade tried not to stare too much at Dan Heng hugging so tight Ryu. He had many questions in his mind but he looked at Haru "It was all a plan to force the Imbibitor to use his powers, are you damn serious, Haru?!" he grabbed his collar "Get to your rooms and leave tomorrow."

"Oh oh! Brother! But my lovely Tayu wants to be in the city for a while longer" Haru laughed "I am free to do whatever I want, I will enjoy this"

"No" Blade looked at everyone "Leave this place, if I come back and I see you here, you will be executed.." he looked at Dan Heng and Ryu "When you're... recovered, the guards will escort Ryu to the medical zone for a check" with that said Blade looked at Haru and he sighed heavily as they both walked away.

Once everyone was away. Dan Heng stand up and Ryu looked around

"Well... It would be a shame if we don't enjoy the feast finally that we're alone, right guys?" he asked at the two shinobi who sighed hard.

But they let the two sit and eat together because they were still recovering from that big event.

Atsu was sitting next to Dan Heng and his eyes were full of curiosity.

"Imbibitor, what was that spell?" he asked and Dan Heng was laughing a little as he and Ryu were challenging themselves to drink sake to try to forget a bit everything.

Dan Heng wanted to seriously seal again that big awful vortex of the images of Yinxing drowning alone... with no one helping him.

His heart felt ripped again and he tried to drink more sake "Spell? I just healed him" he said and Atsu crossed his arms lost in his thoughts.

"Well.. I see, Ryu, let's go to my studio, I have to check if you're fully recovered. Imbibitor you.."

"I stay here, no worries" Dan Heng laughed as he raised a glass to then drink more

"Let him rest. He's surely enjoying himself now that there's none in the courtyard" Ryu smiled "Dan Heng, leave me some, will you?"

"Don't die again, and maybe I will" Dan Heng pout and Ryu sighed

"You make it sound like it's my fault!" 

Dan Heng kept drinking and his head started to hurt but he thought it was better like that than feeling his heart pounding hard as he couldn't believe he was about to lose again someone in front of his eyes.
