Maur our guardian angels were looking out for her. I just wished we didn't lose Yilena, Liz and one of Sonny's men. Maura everyone knew the risk. Yes we all are sadden that they died. I need to call my wife to let her know what transpired.
Jane held my hand as she was talking with Lisa. Lisa was at work but called for a short recess Jane said when she saw it was Jane calling her.
I could see everyone who was around us calling their spouses or significant others.
It didn't take long for them to arrive. I hugged my wife but didn't kiss her. I didn't know if Selena had done anything else to her. We both cried. Rony thanked everyone for coming to rescue her. People who were in wet suits had already left to go paddle to shore to go back to the hotel.
We left in a helicopter to the hospital for me to get checked out.
Maura and I talked on the way there. Maura held my hand all the way until we landed on top of the hospital and were greeted by medical staff for me to be examined and treated. Maura refused to leave my site as well as Jane and our nieces who came.
