Story:
It was the start of another week of classes. Memi joined me earlier that day, knocking on my door with a warm greeting. We headed to the backyard hand in hand, a sign of our close bond.
When we arrived, the girls were already in their spots, waiting patiently. I noticed an even larger group of males gathered around the house, eager to listen. It seemed my classes, along with Memi's presence, were becoming quite popular.
"Hello, ladies! Hello, guys! How's everyone doing? How were the last few days?" I asked.
Their cheerful replies of "Good!" and "Fine!" made me smile.
"Before we begin, I have to say—you all look amazing today!" I said, clapping for the girls. "I'm so proud of each and every one of you. Well done!" The girls blushed, their smiles shy but happy.
"We're moving on to an important topic today," I announced. "We'll be discussing vaginal care, estrous cycles, and aftercare when mating with your mates."
I placed drawings on a makeshift canvas stand to help explain. The first image showed a naked female body, which caused a wave of blushing among the ladies and their mates. I paused to let everyone process it before continuing.
"Can anyone name the specific parts of the body?" I asked.
Their answers were simple and general—things like "head," "arm," "top," and "bottom" for breasts and buttocks.
I smiled and began explaining the correct names for each body part. The women listened closely, their curiosity clear.
"Knowing your body and being able to talk about it is very important," I explained. "It helps you stay healthy, get the right help if you ever need it, and take care of yourself properly."
I continued, "This knowledge is a big part of taking control of your life and making sure you're safe and happy. Understanding how your body and your mate's body work together helps build a stronger bond. It makes your time together more meaningful."
I glanced at the ladies and their mates, who were all paying close attention. "It's about knowing what each of you enjoys, communicating openly, and making sure everything is done with care and agreement. It's also about protecting yourself and taking charge of your well-being."
I showed a drawing of the vagina and penis. The girls—and even the males—turned as red as tomatoes.
Nicholas and Frank tried not to look, clearly embarrassed. It took everything I had not to burst out laughing at their reactions.
Jean stammered, "I-Imara, isn't that a bit much?"
"No, it's not," I replied. "You've got a vagina, don't you?" She nodded reluctantly. "Exactly. And you males have penises, right? You all mate, so you need to learn about this." They blushed even more but nodded in agreement.
"Alright, let's start," I said. "Here are the female and male reproductive organs." I pointed to the parts on the drawing, naming them and explaining their functions. As I went on, the females and even some of the males started asking questions.
"Good questions," I said. "Now, let's talk about hygiene—specifically how to clean and wipe. So, how do you wipe yourselves after using the sandpit?"
Everyone stared at me, confused.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
Katie finally said, "You mean after we use the sandpit?"
"Yes," I replied. "How do you wipe afterward?"
She looked puzzled. Then Sarah spoke up. "We don't wipe."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "Not even when you poop?"
Everyone—males included—shook their heads.
I sighed. "That explains the itching some of you have been dealing with."
I continued, making sure to stress the importance of hygiene. "It's very important to keep these areas clean. When you wash, make sure to clean everywhere, but avoid getting soap inside the vaginal opening—it can cause infections and irritation. After using the sandpit, take a clean cloth or fur and wipe from front to back. This helps prevent bacteria from causing problems."
The group listened carefully, understanding how important this was.
I added, "Males, you need to wipe too. After using the sandpit, make sure to clean yourselves properly."
Then, I moved on to other topics like estrous cycles, discharge, managing odors, proper aftercare, the use of cotton, and how to wash and discard underwear. I assured them we would discuss these in more detail over the next two days.
"The estrous or menstruation cycle is a natural process in a female's body to prepare for the possibility of having a baby. It involves hormonal changes and gets the body ready for pregnancy. If pregnancy doesn't happen, the body resets and prepares for the next chance.
During this time, both males and females need to focus more on hygiene. For females, it's important to keep the private areas clean and use proper hygiene products. Males can help by being supportive, understanding, and keeping themselves clean too. This creates a healthy environment for both partners.
Aftercare is also very important for staying healthy, especially after mating with your males. It means taking steps to make sure both partners are comfortable, relaxed, and safe. This includes using the bathroom afterward to flush out bacteria, cleaning gently, staying hydrated, and creating a cozy space to rest.
Good communication and understanding each other's needs are key. If there's any discomfort, it's important to address it quickly. By making aftercare a priority, you can strengthen your emotional connection with your mate and build a healthier, happier relationship."
Eve spoke up, "Our mates take care of us afterward, so we already do this one."
I nodded and said, "That's good, but let me ask—have you tried providing aftercare for your male mates?"
"Why should we?" she replied. "Females don't work; the males are supposed to provide and handle those things. Honestly, Imara, it seems strange that you do so many things your mate should be doing."
Many of the females and even some males nodded in agreement with her statement.
Frank and Nicholas started to speak up, but I raised my hand to stop them gently. I understood her perspective and responded calmly, "I don't work in the traditional sense. I follow what interests me, and my mate supports me. Let me ask you this—how many of you truly liked, loved, or cared for your male mates when you first met them?"
The females admitted that, at first, it was mostly about needing protection. The males stayed around and proved themselves, so they decided to give them a chance.
I nodded, understanding. "That's a common experience," I said. "How long did it take for you to genuinely understand and like your mate?"
They shared that it took time.
I pointed out, "And when you did start to understand and appreciate them, it made communicating and running your household easier, didn't it?"
They nodded in agreement.
"That's because you chose to care, even if just a little, and took an interest in your mates. I'm not saying you need to do everything I do, but I encourage you to start with small things. You'll see how much they already do for you and how your relationship can grow—both physically and emotionally."
Although they still seemed a bit unsure, I could tell they were listening and thinking about what I said. I felt satisfied knowing I'd helped them consider their mates' needs and emotions.
After the class, Memi and I joined the guys for a hunting trip to gather food. We talked about all sorts of things, including my excitement about the upcoming move in a few weeks. Memi was just as excited as I was.
Once Memi left, I got to work crafting more soaps, conditioners, and body oils.
