One sunny afternoon, we gathered by the lake, dancing, swimming, singing, and playing games like volleyball. It was lively and full of laughter. A mix of songs played from my phone, and when "Rude Boy" by Rihanna came on, the ladies perked up.

Eve exclaimed, "Imara, this music is amazing! It's so full of life—I love it!"

Katie, swaying to the rhythm, added, "Every time we dance, it feels like a celebration. I can't get enough!"

Sarah, curious as always, asked, "Imara, what's this song about? We've heard it a few times now."

I smiled, sharing the essence of the song's meaning. "It tells a story, expressing emotions and experiences. Music is a universal language that transcends cultures."

May, catching the rhythm, added, "We should incorporate these dances into our ceremonies. It feels so freeing!"

I grinned mischievously and said, "Well, it's about... mating."

Their faces turned red as the meaning of the lyrics sank in. I couldn't help myself and burst out laughing.

Jean covered her mouth. "Imara! Oh my goodness!" she squeaked.

Still laughing, I started whining my hips, singing loudly, and teasing May by grinding on her playfully. "Take it, take it, baby, baby, take it, take it, love me, love me!" Being a menace to the ladies.

Her hands instinctively landed on my hips as she stammered, "Goodness, Imara!" Her face turned beet red.

May said "Goodness Imara!" As she blushed all the way to her ears which turned red and blew steam.

The ladies were red as tomatoes. I was laughing hysterically and almost toppled over. "Bwhaaaahaaaaahaa, oh my goodness, y'all are hilarious. Please spare me, the look on yall faces!"

Memi chimed in, "Imara, you're a naughty thing," but she joined my antics and started singing and dancing with me!

"I like the way you touch me there, I like the way you pull my hair, Babe, if I don't I feel it I aint faking no nooo!" I smiled and hugged her, we laughed, as we stumbled holding on to each other.

I said, "That's my bestie in crime!"

The ladies couldn't resist the pleasant mood and joined in. The joyous chatter continued as we danced and sang, creating a lively atmosphere filled with laughter and connection

Katie, giggling like crazy, asked, "Imara, how do you move your hips like that?" I demonstrated, teaching her how to whine and use her knees. She caught on quickly and fianlly mustered the courage to ask with her crazy self, "Can I touch your butt? It moves like water—pleeaassee!? May can't be the only one, it's only right." Her pleading face cracked me up.

"Sure, go ahead," I said, laughing.

Her eyes lit up as she exclaimed, "Oh wow, it's as soft as it looks!" experiencing the moment on cloud nine.

Memi, jealous, rushed over. "Not fair, bestie! I should've been first!" she declared, diving in for her turn.

And to my surprise, I had a lineup from all the ladies, and the shocker was Jean, our reserved one. I looked at her, and she flushed, saying, "Just once, please."

"Jean!" I laughed, completely shocked. But she was determined, and her bashful smile made it all the funnier. Apparently, big butts were universally admired!

Later, Harvey and the other mates came to pick us up. They raised their brows at the scene but said nothing. Besides all the fun, the village had been buzzing with work.

Harvey trained relentlessly, coming home with fewer scars and more confidence. His body was leaner and more toned, but I adjusted his meals to keep him husky and strong. I loved his wide frame and didn't want him to lose that.

Our house was nearly finished, elevated on higher ground to prepare for potential flash floods. We were also packing for the move to the City of Beast in just a few days.

That night, I climbed onto the roof to reflect under the glow of the three moons. Harvey had built stairs inside for me to easily access the rooftop.

As I stared at the moons, thoughts of the challenges ahead flooded my mind—meeting Winston and Gabriel, reconnecting with Bai Qingqing, Parker, and Curtis, and encountering the four kings, especially the Ape King. The dangers of the city loomed large in my mind.

Panic crept in, but I fought it with breathing exercises. I reminded myself that I wasn't alone. I had Harvey, friends, family, knowledge of the story, modern insights, and the attention of the Beast God.

Harvey joined me, carrying calming scents. He sat beside me, his presence grounding. "Are you alright, my love?" he asked gently.

I smiled and hugged him. "I'm okay. With you by my side, I can face anything."

We cuddled under the night sky. "City of Beast," I said softly, "here we come."
