As I stepped outside with Muirmore, Bai's face lit up with surprise.

"Muirmore?! How are you?" she exclaimed. "I've always wanted to thank you for saving me back then."

Her excitement gave me the perfect opening to deal with Parker. Taking him by the ear, I heard Bai's curious voice behind me.

"What's the matter? What did he do now?" she asked, her concern evident.

"Don't worry about it, Sweet Pea, I've got this," I replied with a reassuring smile.

She nodded, though her curiosity lingered. "Okay. He probably deserved it, I guess."

"Oh, he definitely did," I said before pulling Parker aside for a private conversation.

"When are you going to grow up?" I asked bluntly, watching him avoid my gaze.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he muttered, feigning innocence. I wasn't having it.

Gripping his ear harder, I made him flinch. "Miss me with the bullshit, Parker. I'm not playing games, and stop pretending you don't know. I know you were eavesdropping."

Pointing at his chest, I jabbed my finger for emphasis with each word. "You know Bai can't have just one mate. After everything that's happened, it's obvious she needs more protection."

He tried to look away, but I grabbed his chin, forcing him to meet my eyes. "And don't start believing the hype or Bai's words that she doesn't want more mates. She will, in time. It's inevitable, Parker. She needs more than just you for her safety and well-being."

And the stronger her mates are, the fewer she'll need. You, like Muirmore, need to accept this reality. Bai will eventually accept more mates in time, and you need to come to terms with that."

His expression twisted with frustration and hurt, but I wasn't going to sugarcoat the truth. "I get it. It's hard to share someone you love. But this is the reality of life here, and it's time you accept it."

I released his face, giving him space to process, but my words didn't let up. "That scare with Bai should've woken you up, but you're still acting the damn same. Do better, Parker." I was really out done with him.

My voice softened, but the weight of my words remained. "You and the other males need to think about why the Beast God structured life this way. Most of you don't know how to act right. You're fickle, driven by reckless emotions."

I leaned closer, making sure every word hit its mark. "You'll claim to love a female but let her suffer, refuse to get her the mates she needs, and call that love? That's not love, Parker. That's obsession, and it's sick and dangerous."

I stepped back, my voice calm but firm. "This isn't just about you. Even my own males aren't exempt from this. None of you get to have a female all to yourselves here or really appreciate it if you did. That's not how it works."

Parker stood there, his fists clenched, his jaw tight, but I could see my words sinking in. This wasn't just about him; it was about creating a safer, stronger future for Bai—and for all of us.

Sighing, I looked him in the eyes, my gaze unwavering. "Get your act together, or be prepared to face consequences like you almost had to when Curtis snapped Bai's neck."

Parker's POV

I stood just out of sight, ears tuned sharply to the conversation between Imara and Muirmore. Every word grated on me, stirring a storm of emotions I couldn't control. Muirmore's request to pursue Bai—it was absurd.
