"Uff sahil thak gyi mein kal toh.. " I groggily wished Sahil a good morning, while complaining about my tiredness.
(Uff..I'm so tired)

It was a lazy Sunday, and we were lounging at home. Sahil reassuringly said, ''Don't worry, di, take a break today. I'll handle the household chores, and we'll order lunch.''

His thoughtfulness made me smile .

"Focus on your exams, don't worry about chores. By the way, I'm still upset about missing out on gulabjamun at the wedding yesterday...'' I teased as Sahil chuckled.

"Areh  baki sab itna thoos lia hoga apne to gulabjamun ki jgah khan bachi hogi " My idiot brother sahil said with smirk

(You had eaten other things that's why there was no space for gulabjamun)

I playfully hit him with a pillow, laughing, ''Shut up!''

He burst out laughing, enjoying our silly banter.

"It's okay di... We will go today to eat gulabjamun okayokay. " Sahil said making my mood lift up.

Despite his annoying ways, he always knows how to make me smile. We've been each other's rock since our parents passed away five years ago. Our parents' friends, Trisha's parents, took us in, but once I got a job, we decided to move back into our childhood home. It wasn't easy, but we insisted on starting fresh. Although, they were not agreeing but we insisted. Because it's not fair to stay there forever..

"Ohh.. Thank you...thank you sahil .. " I exclaimed, my excitement evident.

He nodded with a smile.

After our sweet exchange, we sat down to enjoy a delicious breakfast, courtesy of my brother's culinary skills.

Sahil inherited our dad's cooking genes, and I must say, he's quite the chef! Our mom, on the other hand, wasn't as skilled in the kitchen, but that's okay.

I, unfortunately, didn't inherit the cooking talent, but my dishes are edible, so we manage. Interestingly, Sahil learned to cook later in life, when study and work pressures mounted.

Earlier, I used to cook for both of us when dad was away at work. We may not be wealthy, but we're content with our simple life, able to fulfill our basic needs without hassle

As for me, I'm a successful fashion designer at A.S.R., a reputed company. My job allows me to support our lifestyle comfortably, and we've also been fortunate to have some savings set aside by our parents.

Sahil, on the other hand, is an outstanding student with a passion to become a doctor. He's currently preparing for his 12th board exams and hopes to get into his dream college.

With our basics covered, it's time to enjoy the day! Sunday equals Funday, let's make the most of it!"

✨🌈✨

"'Coming, Sahil!' I replied, slipping on my shoes. We were headed to our favorite spot to indulge in some delicious gulabjamun.

''Let's go!'' I exclaimed, and we both hopped into our car, ready to embark on our sweet adventure.

              AKSHIT POV:

I lay in my bed, my mind consumed by thoughts of Her.

It had only been a day, but I couldn't shake her off my mind.

"Bhai bhai" Esha said coming in my room with ziaan in her arms.

Ziaan jumped from her lap and came to me, sat in my lap grinning widely at ny sight. I pressed a kiss on his chubby cheeks as he smiled widely and snuggled in my chest... My heart melted at the sight of my little bundle of joy

My baby ziaan..

"Bhai, let's go get some golagappe!'' Esha exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"No esha it's late " I refused looking at my  watch but she pouted and gave me her best puppy dog eyes. I couldn't resist, ''Fine, okay,'' I relented, and we all headed out - me, Ruhi, Ziaan, and Ishita bhabhi.

"Ziaan apne chachu se pucho ki apki chachi kab laenge vo? " Ishita bhabhi said with teasing grin.
(Ziaan ask your uncle when will he bring aunt for you? ")

"Chaci" Ziaan said with an adorable pout.

We all smiled at his cuteness

"Btao btao akshit kab laoge meri dewarani" Ishita bhabhi persisted
(Tell, tell akshit when will you bring my sister in law? )

She and esha laughed saying this.

Thinking about this remind me of her... My queen..

"Very soon bhabhi " I replied with a smirk as Her and esha's jaw dropped.

The next moment, I had to cover Ziaan's and my own ears as the ladies squealed with delight.

''You're scaring him!'' I laughed, pointing to Ziaan who looked stunned seeing their reaction

Ishita bhabhi apologized, ''Sorry, baby, but momma is just so excited that your chachu will soon bring chachi!"

Ziaan laughed and send flying kiss to bhabi making us awe at his antics.

"Bhai you are in relationship and you didn't even tell us! " Esha said with a disappointed look and crossed her arms.

"Wait.. Who said I'm in relationship? " I furrowed my brow,  being confused

"You said you will bring bhabhi so.. We assume! " Esha said huffing.

"Ohh, No, I'm not in a relationship..yet! " I added with a sly smirk as we all arrived at market to eat panipuri.

"Don't worry, I like her, and soon she'll like me back..." I trailed off as we arrived at the market to indulge in some delicious panipuri.

As we approached the stall, I excused myself to take an important call, leaving the others to wonder about my mysterious love life.

As I was on the call, I caught sight of her again - this time with a boy who could be her brother or perhaps someone else.

She savored each bite of the gulabjamun, her eyes closed in delight.

Ah, gulabjamun is her weakness, I thought to myself, filing away this valuable information for future reference. I couldn't help but smile at the discovery.

But my reverie was interrupted by the voice on the phone, ''Hello, Mr. Akshit, are you there?''

I rubbed my forehead, apologizing, ''Yeah, sorry Mr. Bansal.'' We wrapped up the call, and I returned my gaze to her direction, only to see her driving away with the boy.

I couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment, wishing she had lingered a bit longer, allowing me to indulge in the sight of her for a little while more.
