"partyyyyyy~"
"i didn't expect these much people to come. i'm already drained just by seeing all these strangers," jake shouted to jungwon so he could hear him above the blaring music.
"what are you talking about!? this is so much fun!" he yelled back and started jumping into the crowd of people dancing.
jake laughed at him and only watched him go. he adored the kid but sometimes he just didn't get him.
jake was drinking a bit from his bottle of who-knows-what-anymore when his hand was grabbed from behind him. he recognized the touch right away, for it sent sparks of electricity through his whole body all the time lately.
"jakeeeuuuu why aren't you having fun like everyone else is?! come on, let's danceeee!" heeseung shouted loudly enough for him to hear.
"i am having fun. i just don't want to mingle in the crowd. i'm good over here," jake answered.
"if you say sooooo!" a clearly not sober heeseung yelled as he let go of jake's hand to grab another bottle of beer. he was drinking it like it was water.
"you really like that, huh?" jake teased.
heeseung shook his head violently, "it's awful, tastes like piss! but it's the only thing i found!"
jake laughed at him. only a drunk heeseung would be so vulgar.
"jake!" heeseung yelled.
"yes, hee?!" jake responded.
"you know i love you, right?!" heeseung smiled as he shouted.
jake's heart started racing. "you do?!"
"of course i do, smart-ass! you're my favorite person! my deeeeaaarest bestest long-time friend!" he sang loudly.
jake's heart slowed down almost instantly. "you're very drunk!"
"i'm just fineeee!" he retaliated.
"come on, we gotta sober you up a little before you do something you might regret later," jake held heeseung's hand and dragged him to his room in search of the chocolate.
"where did you say the chocolate was?" jake asked after he sat heeseung down on his bed.
"here," he responded only pointing at his bedside drawer.
jake nodded and grabbed the chocolates. he opened one bar and offered it to heeseung. the latter didn't move his hands. instead, he parted his lips and let his jaw drop a little, causing his jawline to show prominently.
"only 'cause you're drunk as hell, you goliath," jake said unconvinced. he stood in front of heeseung who was still sitting on the bed.
he neared the chocolate to heeseung's mouth and waited for him to bite on it. when heeseung bit the chocolate, his lips grazed jake's fingertips and he couldn't help the deep shade of pink on his cheeks and the tingling on his fingers.
"mmm~ i see why you like it so much," heeseung mumbled in between chews.
"the things i do for you. i could be eating it by myself but here i am, feeding you my favorite chocolate," jake scoffed.
"that i bought."
"for me."
"touché."
jake giggled. he neared the chocolate towards heeseung once more but the birthday boy didn't bite on it. what he did next took jake by complete surprise.
in the blink of an eye jake was almost seated in heeseung's lap, his waist surrounded by the latter's arms and on his chest rested heeseung's head.
