"that was not your smartest thought, goliath," jake stated, his legs shaking a little because he was a little scared.
"i agree with you on that..." heeseung said.
they were being secured to a sphere like cart that jumped tens of feet in the air and back down several times. in other words, a scary ride.
"if i die, lee heeseung, i swear i'll kill you."
"if you die, sim jaeyun, i'd kill myself."
jake burst out laughing because of the situation and the nerves all mixed up. but the ride wasn't too bad, they both were screaming and laughing their lungs out, but they landed just fine.
"that was freaking crazy... i don't think i ever want to do that again willingly," jake exclaimed.
"we will do it again, don't worry. when you come back, i'll bring you here and we'll relive this moment."
jake shook his head laughing. he really didn't look forward to doing that again, but he now yearned to come back, and he hadn't even left yet.
"that ride made me exhausted. what're our dinner plans, hee?" jake asked batting his eyelashes.
heeseung couldn't help thinking jake was cute when he did that.
"a surprise i'm sure will be to your taste. you'll see, just follow me," heeseung sang excitedly.
"please not ramyeon," jake muttered.
"hahaha it won't be ramyeon, jaeyun, come on."
they got on the bus and traveled for about fifteen minutes to a vivid city street where many people were walking together.
it felt like a late winter evening when couples just spent quality time together. heeseung led the way and jake followed, and it felt like a date. but heeseung smiled at him and jake couldn't stop himself from thinking of mirae and how much heeseung likes her.
his heart dropped a little and he knew he was being selfish, but just for that night, jake let mirae slip from his mind and just thought of his own feelings. it wouldn't matter, he was leaving in a month. so he let himself have this day to him and heeseung.
someone crashed shoulders with jake and heeseung walked ahead unaware until he looked back.
"jake?!" heeseung shouted over the crowd once he noticed he was walking alone.
"hee! i'm here!" jake replied. he raised his hand and heeseung found him.
"i swear i'm gonna tie a balloon to your hand so i can find you. come on, don't stay back," heeseung said and held jake's hand in his.
jake walked on behind heeseung letting his heart burst as they went on. now it felt like a date.
