"i did not remember that horrible sinking feeling, hee. i'm gonna kill you!" jake yelled at a laughing heeseung.
"that's not fair, i asked you beforehand if you wanted to ride the game with me and you agreed. i asked you twice!"
jake held his stomach, "whatever, let's just go..."
heeseung walked behind jake while the latter was still holding onto his stomach. heeseung had two theories: jake was about to be sick or he was hungry.
the only way to find out was what heeseung said next.
"up for some ramyeon?"
jake immediately perked right up and smiled with a shiny expression. "yes! please! i need some energy!"
heeseung only giggled at jake's cuteness and held his hand, leading him along to a new place he had been wanting to take jake to for the past year.
once settled down in a table, waiting for their orders, heeseung spoke up.
"this place is relatively new, you know? i'd been wanting to bring you since it opened. i always thought about you every time i came by..."
jake's heart clenched in awe.
"i'm immensely happy to be here with you, jaeyunie," heeseung sighed with a smile.
jake was smiling as well.
"i'm glad to be back, hee. thank you for not giving up, and i'm sorry we had to go through all that..."
heeseung shook his head, "well, i'm not. because it lead to this, and it feels great to see you again."
feeling joyful and grateful, their orders arrived and they started enjoying the delicious meal. jake wouldn't stop exclaiming how tasty the food was and heeseung fell more and more for the younger.
in the blink of an eye they had finished the food and jake's belly was content.
"that really was top notch hee. i even dare to say it's the best ramyeon i've ever had..." jake giggled.
heeseung nodded, "well, with your belly full now, would you like to go for a walk? the sun will set in over an hour, which is more or less the time it'd take us to get home. what do you say?"
jake was visibly excited for the walk back home with heeseung. his eyes shone and heeseung knew what he was going to say next would triplicate that shine.
