Chapter 2: Pursuit Object

Xu Xizhou got out of the taxi and walked into the door of the Karting Club Hall.

He was a frequent visitor here when he was a child, and he has won championships in various domestic karting competitions. After the age of twelve, the coach suggested that he go to Europe to participate in international competitions. He couldn't help laughing when he thought of the scene where he was tearfully grabbing the straps of his backpack and not wanting to get on the plane when he went abroad for the first time.

"Xizhou, you are here."

A middle-aged man with gray hair came out. He was Xu Xizhou's former coach Meng Hui, and now he is the general manager of this kart training ground.

He walked forward with a smile and patted Xu Xizhou on the shoulder.

"I heard that you don't live in the Lu family anymore, what's the matter?"

"Just like that, I'm a fake, and it's not good for a dove to occupy a magpie's nest."

"You just terminated the contract with the team and lost your source of income. What will you do in the future?"

"Isn't there a coach who is covering me?"

Compared to the man with a sad face, Xu Xizhou looked much more relaxed. He put one hand on the man's shoulder and said with a smile, "Let's go, Mr. Meng, let's go see your lavish office."

"The track is still the same, it doesn't seem to have changed."

Xu Xizhou stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling glass window outside the office, looking around the S-shaped track not far away.

Meng Hui didn't know what to think, and sighed lightly, "When F1 had races in China in the early years, quite a few people paid attention to racing cars, but it stopped later. After all, this is a niche sport in China, and my venue is here. It's not bad to be able to run a business."

He made an internal call and called his assistant to come in.

"I'll let Lili show you around first. Get familiar with this place. I'll have a meeting later, and I'll have dinner with you after the meeting."

Xu Xizhou nodded, and thought of something, and said uncertainly, "I have never taught students before, are you sure you want me to be their coach?"

"I have no other requirements, just don't make those children cry."

"I'm not a bully, why make them cry?"

"You made people cry a lot when you were young."

Xu Xizhou suddenly thought of how arrogant and arrogant he was when he won an award when he was a child, and he wanted to laugh at the same time, but his heart was a little sour.

Not long after Xu Xizhou left, there was a black Mercedes-Benz in front of the office building. Meng Hui saw the license plate in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, immediately put a smile on his face, and walked out of the office to greet him.

The driver's door was pushed open, the gray-haired driver came out first, wearing white gloves. He walked to the back row, bent down slightly, and opened the door respectfully.

"Master, here we are."

There was a low hum from inside the car. A slender foot in black leather shoes stepped out. The man who walked out of the carriage was very tall, wearing a decent black suit, his hair was a rare light brown, and his face was extraordinarily dark.

The man's unsmiling thin lips were slightly pursed, and a pair of silver-rimmed glasses was on the bridge of his tall nose. Behind the lenses were a pair of light green eye-catching eyes, which reflected an emerald-like light in the winter sun.
