Emmett has Abel sitting atop his desk in his room at the Cullen place, they're kissing heatedly and Emmett is running his fingers through Abel's soft hair. Abel groans when the door's thrown open and Jasper chuckles.
"Alice sent me to hurry y'all along," he states. "Sorry about the interruption."
Emmett rushes after Jasper, who is quick to flee. Abel chuckles and he walks out of Emmett's bedroom before going downstairs. He goes and he sits on the steps at Emmett's feed in his dark black jeans, a blue, green and white pride t-shirt, and some new sneakers. Alice approved of his outfit because she thinks it's cute. She made the other females - herself, Bella, Rosalie, and Esme - wear dresses.
Esme gives Bella a loving hug. "Happy birthday, Bella," she says and Alice snaps a picture of them.
"Found it in your bag," Alice chirps when Bella looks at her with a raised eyebrow. "Mind?"
Emmett nudges Edward, who's standing beside him. "Dating an older woman... hot."
"Emmett..."
Emmett smirks down at Abel. Live it two years and you'll be physically older than me," he says and Abel hums.
"I can accept that," Abel says and Emmett smirks slightly.
Rosalie steps forward first and she hands a small box wrapped in silver wrapping paper to Bella. "It's a necklace. Alice picked it out."
Bored, Rosalie walks away and Bella sees Jasper. They both send a small wave to one another. Emmett leans against the stair rails and Abel leans back against his legs.
"Show me the love!"
Edward pulls Bella into an embrace and he kisses the top of her head. Alice takes their picture.
"For your scrapbook," Alice says. "Now, open your presents." She gives Rose a look but the blonde curls into Evan, ignoring the clairvoyant. Alice drags Bella over to a table piled with elaborately wrapped gifts, a huge cake, and a tall stack of China plates. Today has been a very busy day since Esme did the party running with Evan around while the others were in school.
"Alice, Abel and I are the only ones here who even eat cake," Bella comments when she takes in the large, gorgeous cake. "That thing could feed fifty." It looks like a cake one would have at a Mexican fifteenth birthday party or a wedding.
"Hope you're both hungry," Alice says.
"Always am," Abel comments from where he's at.
"Here, this one's from Emmett," Alice says and she hands a box to Bella.
Emmett helps Abel stand and they crowd around Bella. Jasper stays somewhat away. Bella awkwardly opens the gift and finds an empty box that held a radio for a vehicle.
"Um..." Bella frowns, "thanks?"
"Already installed it in your truck," Emmett comments as he wraps an arm around Abel.
"Finally," Edward says, "a decent sound system for that piece of - "
"Hey, no hating the truck," Bella scolds and she turns to her cousin's boyfriend. "Thank you, Emmett."
Emmett grins broadly and Abel huffs.
'And now you've built into his ego, Bells," Abel comments. "Thanks."
Bella snickers. "You're welcome, Abel," she says sarcastically.
Bella's birthday party goes well until Bella gets a paper cut on Esme and Carlisle's gift and Jasper lost control when he felt everyone's thirst.
