The battle has come and gone, the wolves and Cullens came out on top besides Jacob getting hurt. Abel is out and about in Port Angeles right now, getting a few finishing touches for his and Emmett's room when he's grabbed. He's yanked into an alley and shoved against a brick wall.
"Dad?" Abel murmurs when he sees the familiar man.
Jason Kidd stands there, mocking, smirking. He's gotten bulkier. His eyes seem like a darker brown.
"Hey, kid," Jason greets and chills rush through Abel. "I visited your mom's grave."
Abel grows mad at that. "You have no right to see her grave," he snarks. "You killed her."
Jason wraps his large hand around his throat and slams his son against the wall. "What did you just say to me, you little fa**ot?"

Alice gasps when she's pulled into a vision.
"Oh, no."
"Alice?" Emmett frowns.
Alice rushes off and she goes straight to Port Angeles, which is where she finds Abel on the ground, bleeding, dying, and no Jason in site. Alice picks up up and rushes off once his blood is cleaned up and she brings him back to Forks.
"Abel!" Emmett runs over.
"He's dying," Alice demands. "He needs to be turned if you want to keep your mate alive, Emmett."
"I'll call Sam," Lauren, who was visiting, says and she walks away and comes back. "He says turn him, he'll talk to the Elders and get the Abel to sign the treaty."
"But Carlisle's not back yet," Emmett demands.
"You do it," Rosalie urges. "Emmett, your mate needs your venom."
Emmett doesn't hesitate. Edward and Bella enter as Emmett bites Abel on his wrist.
"Abel?" Bella hurries over and she touches his face. "What happened?"
"His father found him," Alice replies. "I saw a vision of Jason beating him."
Bella gasps and she she tears up. "He didn't want to be a vampire."
"I know," Emmett replies. "But he also wanted to grow old. He won't be mad."
"I'm not," Abel whispers right before his heart stops.

They go to check on Abel three days later and the newborn vampire is gone.
