"How was school this week?" Emmett asks his mate while Abel gets ready to go spend the day with Emily Young again. Emmett's not jealous. He's glad that Abel's expanding his friend list. He's also glad that he is so good with weird.
"Long," Abel replies. "I'm ready to graduate so I can go to culinary school."
"I can't wait to see you succeed in your human life," Emmett says honestly, "no matter where we end up."
Abel walks over and he straddles Emmett's lap on the couch. "I can't wait to spend my life by your side." He gives Emmett a kiss and they make out for a while before they have sex.

"I thought you were on your way an hour ago," Emily says as soon as Abel walks inside.
"I got busy... and naked," Abel says. "Jacob?"
"He phased," Sam says.
"Oh... hey, Jake," Abel greets and Jacob smiles through clenched teeth. "I'm sorry I'm late, Emily, but I did come."
"Hey," Paul greets the guy as he jogs in. "Sam, we got troubles. Vampire nearby, not the Cullen."
"Let's go," Sam demands and the wolves all leave.
Abel goes to the door and he watches as they shift. "I love my vampire and his family, but those wolves are really damn cool," he comments.
"Yeah," Emily agrees. "Wanna watch some cliche vampire and werewolf movies?"
"Ooh, yes!"
Abel and Emily go to get snacks and drinks and they go to the living room while the pack saves Bella from the nomad vampire Laurent.
