Judith focussed all of her energy on sprinting to the point where she would make her attack, reaching it before anyone else and being by Captain Winters side. Immediately she droppped to her stomach and began firing at the Krauts, taking one down after another as the rest of the men dropped down around her. Monique wasn't too far away shooting the heads of the Krauts with her sniper. Her tally racking up to 68 Krauts since D-day.

Then a whole other company of krauts began to run from over the otherside of the dyke, they gave them hell though. They continued firing as much as they could at all of the krauts. Then the artillery came down on them, Judiths ears began ringing at all the commotion but she stuck to her position and kept firing.

"Incoming rogues! Easy company take cover!" All the men heard Winters, dropping to find cover.

Joe had to drag Judith from where she was shooting as his words went right past her ringing ears, he held her head to his chest as he used his body to shield her. Webster began to yell he got hit, making Monique look for him.

"Tab I gotta go, he is hit. Lizzie would!" Monique said as she snatched her arm from his grasp.

"Fine but just stay low, you got it Mon ?" He said with raised eyebrows.

"Yes sir." She mocked before running off to Webster.

Eventually the artillary stopped, allowing the men and women to come from their spots where they hit. Monique told Webster to hang on whilst she sorted out getting a medic for him, making Doc Roe come out to see to his wound. Judith stood up from where she had hid with Joe and made her way to sit on the road, legs spread and her gun laying between them as she looked up to the sky.

She could still hear some shooting but it sounded fuzzy, her eyes were struggling to stay wide open as she began to breathe a bit heavier. The adrenaline hid how bad the illness had took a toll on her that whole time. Judith closed her eyes, laying her head back.

Her mind fell back to the days at home. Then to Aldbourne with the lovely old couple. Right before they left again they had given her a gift so she would always remember them just in case she never returned. A small silver bracelet with a single pendant on it, a dog. Her hand moved to touch it but it was a lot of effort for her body, she ached with every movement but continued to gently twirl it around her wrist.

Monique looked over to Judith, her eyes falling on the small females body. She hadn't noticed how pale she had gotten with her illness. Subconsciously she had wandered over and stood to the side of the female.

"Hey Judith." No response.

She moved in front of her.

"Hey Jude ?" She repeated but still got no response.

Judith was quite clearly fiddling with the bracelet, so why wasn't she responding ? Monique rushed over to Eugene, who turned to her upon hearing her footsteps. A slight wave of fear flooding his eyes.

"You okay Mon ? You weren't hit right ?" Eugene asked putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Not it isnt me, its Judith. She isn't moving or responding." Monique pointed over to the small woman.

"What do you mean ?" He raised a brow.

"Come."

Monique took his hand and led him to the flu riddled woman, he stood in front of her waving a hand in front of her face to see if the shadow of his hand would stir her. It didn't. He crouched down to her level, he could see the slight frown on her face and looked toward her hands. The stiff movement was noticable and it was clear she was in some pain.

"How long she been like this for?" Eugene asked.

"I don't know Gene, I just stumbled upon her." Monique frowned.
