"Hi," I forced a smile at the invader.
Rings in fingers, a black watch loosely hung on his wrist, pulled a chair, plopped on it, "introduce your friend to me, Roshni," he wiggled his brows, playfully.
My teeth gritted, "this is Noor Jahan-"
"But please call me Noor," she cut me off, giving a toothy smile to the invader.
Extended his arm at my newly found friend, "Viraj Oberoi," he pulled it after he shook his hand with hers, he runs it through his dark hair, "I just saw Roshni so thought of coming and say hello to you girls," he shrugged, arms threw on the head rest of chair, he chewed on a gum.
"Since the pleasantries are done, you may leave Viraj," I said as calmly as I could. The guards present should not know I was being bothered, they would not stop before they report the incident to my brother and his outrageous reaction would end up giving me the attention I do not want.
"I will, I will." He moves his head to and fro, "First tell me what are you guys studying?" He gaze travels from Noor to me and so on, "I can always be a help to you, they know me well,"
"Who?" Noor asked.
Patent smug smile graces his face, "the teachers and the students."
"Oh really?" Noor keeps her burger back on tray, clearly intrigued by the invader, "Excuse me," she stops a student passing by us, "Hi sorry, I needed to ask something," He raised a brow, asking her to continue, "Do you know him?" She points at the arrogant lad seated beside us.
The student nods, "Viraj Oberoi, who doesn't knows him- excuse me," he rushed back to a table where a group of guys hooted around.
Noor's left agape, I rolled my eyes her. Why would she give him a free ego boast. My eyes travel to my left, he raised a brow, "ab batao, kabhi bhi madad chahiye ho toh banda hazir hai,"
("I am always available in case you require a help.")
I wanted to barf at his poor attempt of forming a sentence while trying to act all heroic, "Why?"
He breaths out, lips formed in a moue, "I just said I can help you guys, Roshni," he threw his hands in the air.
"Viraj Oberoi," I give my attention to him, "do you think, I, Roshni Singhania, would require your help?" My brows raised, I wait for him to retaliate.
He bobbles his head, grin deepened, "you tell me, Noor, what are you guys studying."
Her eyes shone brighter, she opened her mouth to speak while I quietened her down. "You are not gonna tell him," I point a finger in air, she nods, flashing a pitiful smile to him.
