*A/N - This is the final chapter before the epilogue. I can't believe we are finally here. When I started writing this story, I had no idea so many people would not only read it, but actually enjoy my writing.😭 I'm so incredibly grateful for all my readers and your support. Thank you so much.
I am currently writing a new story and hope to publish some soon— it will be called Darth Vader's Bride. It's an arranged marriage au. I hope all of you will enjoy that story just as much this one.*

Y/N's POV:
Our son is sound asleep against my chest, while Anakin holds our daughter.
"You really are a perfect little girl, aren't you?" he murmurs, brushing Leia's cheek with his thumb. Her tiny hand is wrapped around Obi-Wan's finger as he coos and smiles down at her in the seat beside her father.
The smile slowly fades from Obi-Wan's face, replaced by quiet urgency. "We need to leave Polis Massa and get the twins to safety before Palpatine finds us," he says gravely. "There's no doubt he's discovered your return to the light side, Anakin. And with his abilities, I'm sure he's already sensed that Y/N went into labour — he'll be searching every medical station near the Mustafar system."
Anakin's hand tightens around mine, his other arm instinctively drawing Leia closer to his chest. "He's not coming anywhere near them," he says darkly. "I won't allow it."
"Then we'd best move swiftly," Obi-Wan replies. "Once we're hidden, we can determine our next step."
"We can go to the Lake District — it's safe there, and the people are discreet," Padmé says as she enters the room, her voice carrying a rare note of hope. She smiles at me and my husband. "You always said it was the perfect place to raise your children."
"Mae! What are you doing here?" My jaw falls open as she hurries to my bedside. "I couldn't miss this." She leans down, carefully wrapping her arms around me and the baby before pulling back to look at Luke. "Oh my stars, Y/N... he's perfect."
She glances up at Anakin, eyes bright. "He looks just like you, Ani."
"Come have a look at Leia," Obi-Wan chuckles softly. "She's all Y/N. Seems each of them got their own little mini-me."
"Leia," Padmé repeats, smiling as she kneels beside Anakin. "A beautiful name for a beautiful little girl."
"Is there room for two more in here?" Ahsoka's familiar voice rings out as the doors slide open. She steps in with Cal close behind, his expression caught somewhere between awe and disbelief.
Anakin's eyes snap up. "Snips — what are you two doing here? It's not safe!"
"I told them not to come," Obi-Wan sighs. "But they never did learn to listen. They were trained by you, after all."
Anakin shoots him a glare.
"We had to see the babies," Ahsoka insists. "And... we thought you might need our help. Against Palpatine."
Cal shifts awkwardly, avoiding Obi-Wan's gaze. "Sorry, Master," he mutters.
"It's alright, Cal," I say gently. "I'm glad you both came. Come meet them."
The two young Padawans step closer, moving shyly at first. But the moment they see the twins — curled in soft blankets, impossibly small — their faces light with wonder.
"They're so beautiful," Ahsoka breathes.
"They're so small," Cal adds, stunned.
"Would you like to hold one?" I ask.
