Minho heaved a small sigh before standing up.

My gaze followed his actions, while he looked away as if he was trying to avoid my gaze. I didn't know why, but I didn't think of it much. He was probably annoyed by the fact that I brought up nature like that- though he didn't talk back in my face this time.

It was strange.

"I think I saw some more berries somewhere around here..." He mumbled, turning away from me so his back was facing me now. His eyes moved across the wilderness behind us as another soft breath left his plump lips.

"You... are still hungry, right?" He asked, turning his head slightly, and looking at me slightly. Our eyes made contact and he quickly turned his head away once more.

I blinked in silence, slightly surprised as I did not expect him to ask that question. After a short while, I nodded and answered him. "Yeah.." I muttered as I picked myself up.

He nodded in response and without another word, he began his way toward the forest in front of him. I stood there for a few seconds, confused about his sudden change in behavior.

Was he actually going to find me something to eat?... or was he just curious if I was hungry or not and there was nothing more to asking that?

Curious to see what he does, I follow after him, catching up to him not long after. His eyes were focused everywhere; they searched the trees for berry vines, or fruits perhaps; but he was certainly searching for something.

I didn't know he would actually care. Or he could care. Maybe I wasn't exactly right about him all along... Maybe there's a side to him that I haven't seen yet?

A faint smile formed on my lips at the thought.

The Lee Minho who had done nothing but annoy me all my life- nothing but mock me and work against me- being on friendly terms with him would definitely cut down a lot of stress in the future while making our past into something we could laugh about over a bonfire.

But there was a thin chance that would happen. And having my hopes up about him only to get it all ruined would create an even bigger flame between the two of us.

We were just on two different planes, two different worlds. We're merely just dealing with each other... right?

I was lost in my thoughts, my head lowered as I let my feet drag me while I was distracted by my own mind. There was still a slight irritation in my foot where it got injured before, although the pain had died down a lot now too.
