The last thing I remembered from last night was huddling my own arms around my body as I fell asleep, shivering in the cold. But as I opened my eyes, I felt something entirely different.

It was warm and comfortable. It reminded me of home; like the soft bedsheets and my warm room. Come to think of it- I didn't even feel the ground under me.

I opened my half-asleep eyes and looked down and I froze.

Now, everything made a whole lot more sense. The warmth, the softness- I was asleep on Minho.

"What the..." A small gasp left my lips as I gently tried to get up, but then felt his hands that were around my waist, holding me in a comforting, yet firm way.

I certainly did not remember falling asleep in his arms. Actually- I was pretty sure I was quite a distance away.

But then... why did I wake up here?

Did I sleepwalk? No, I wouldn't live a day out of embarrassment then.

I looked down at Minho, at his sleeping figure. His eyes were closed and his breathing was normal. I could feel his chest rising and falling slowly.

"tch," A small scoff left my lips as I looked away from his face. I then saw the campfire we set last night, but burnt out into ashes.

Had he... brought me closer to the fire? Did he see me shivering?

Did he... actually check on me?

My eyes widened slightly as the thought crossed my mind. Was it a possibility?

I then turned to look at him once again and this time my gaze softened slightly.

He wasn't all that annoying when he slept- and to be frank, he looked adorable like this. His eyes closed, lips ever so slightly parted and small bits of dirt on his cheek; overall just peaceful in his slumber.

A small sigh left my lips as I looked at him, contemplating whether I should wake him up or not.

He looked so peaceful, so comfortable... I almost wanted to lie back in his arms, but then I saw his eyes open slowly.

I blinked a bit as I looked down at him. His sleepy eyes looked at me and he smiled in a way I have never seen him do- it wasn't the normal smirks he does; but a genuine, sweet smile. He looked at me in a way I had never seen anyone look at me before...

He picked up one of his hands from my waist and brought it to my face, gently caressing my cheek with his thumb as he held it. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as he smiled goofily, closing his eyes once more before opening them; and as if struck by a sudden horrific realization, his eyes widened and he quickly pushed me off him.

A small scoff left my lips as he threw me off and I dusted myself off before standing up, giving him a small glare. He gave me the same stare and then took a step back.

"What were you doing?" He asked, standing up and narrowing his eyes at me as if I had done a crime.

I tilted my head a bit. "What was I doing waking up in your arms?" I decided to question him back and he looked away for a moment, sighing. He then looked back at me, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, what were you doing in my arms? I was sweating all night" He said, rolling his eyes as he gently tugged the collar of his shirt.

I raised my eyebrows before laughing slightly in a bit mocking way, not breaking eye contact with him. "Then I must stink huh" I said and he gasped, looking at me in a very offended way.

She felt warm, like a summer breeze on a freezing winter night. Holding her body so delicately and allowing her to rest her figure on mine for the night made my heartbeat rise, and it reminded me of something.

Something like home.

The next morning, I could feel her warmth as I woke up. And as I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was her own, staring into mine. Her hazel eyes shined ever so slightly, like how the single dew on the tip of an autumn deaf does.

A small smile formed on my lips as I gently held her cheeks; it was if my heart steered my body instead of my mind for a moment.

But can you blame me?

She looked... just like a dream. The prettiest girl I've ever seen.

But it wasn't a dream and I could never show her that my heart leaped like that at her sight. I could never show her that she affected me. She was someone I disliked... our jobs contradict each other, our paths won't intercross, and our feelings could never align... right?

I shook my head slightly and acted shocked before pushing her off me. The moment she was off me, I felt the warmth around me disappear, but I could still feel a bit of it as if her presence still remained.

What was happening to me?

How she effecting me this much?
