I slightly raised one eyebrow when she thanked me and looked away. Her gaze was suddenly fixed on the cave wall instead of at me--which looked a bit silly.
I turned my head to look at what she was looking at, thinking what about it was so interesting- but it looked pretty ordinary to me.
Turning to look at her again, I began realizing why she was looking away, but the idea of it being real was highly unlikely; could she be shy?
Very unlikely.. but that would explain her behavior a lot.
A light chuckle left my lips as I shook my head a little before standing up, dusting my legs a bit. I then crossed my arms, looking down at her. She turned her head a little to glance at me before looking away again.
This little thing she was doing- it was almost cute.
The corner of my lips lifted a bit as I shook my head before heading out of the cave. Seconds later I heard quick footsteps behind me.
"You're not going," I said, turning around to face the girl who halted in her step right behind me when I spoke.
She furrowed her eyebrows a little. "I've got nothing else to do," She said, crossing her arms. I raised an eyebrow, glancing down at her leg.
"You got to rest that leg. Or it'll hurt more" I said, daringly looking back at her eyes. She stared back, narrowing her eyes a bit while a small smile formed on her lips.
"So... you care" She asked, tilting her head slightly, all while keeping her arms crossed and giving me that teasing look.
A small snicker left my lips as I stepped closer to her. I bent down a bit so our eyes were aligned. "Or maybe I just don't want you to make me feel it was a waste helping you wrap that bandaid," I said, tilting my head a bit as I looked at her.
She blinked a little and looked away, furrowing her eyebrows slightly. But before she could say anything, I found myself taking another step toward her as I tilted my head closer to the side of her face.

I was only being a little playful when I asked of he cared; I wasn't expecting him to answer rudely- as if he never cared in the first place.
It was confusing. For a moment, he gives clear signs of caring, and the next, he's acting like a whole different person. And the fact that lately, I've been feeling this little flutter in my heart every time he says or does something nice is even more confusing for me.
Was it because I was so unaware of that side of his? Was it by the fact that I was wrong for thinking he could only have one side to him?
I was in these thoughts, jumping from question to question in my mind when all of a sudden I felt his breath near my ear. A chill ran down my spine, and my eyes widened slightly.
He was close. Very close. His head was tilted toward my left ear, and I felt him gently moving my hair behind my ear as his voice whispered in my ear.
"Maybe, I do care.." His voice was like honey, like a trigger, like a cold chill, like a new awakening. I felt my cheeks burn a bit and my heartbeat rose more than it ever had. He then stepped away, glancing at me with a small half-smile before walking out of the cave.
After I was sure he had gone far enough, I covered my mouth as I held in a tiny squeal. What was even happening to me? The way I was acting seemed oddly familiar to how those girls in movies and dramas act when something cute happens between them and their crush-
But Minho wasn't my crush! He could never be... I mean, that's what I said when we played truth or dare in 5th grade- But was it still true?
Could I possibly be developing a crush on the Lee Minho? My enemy? The guy I have hated all my life? Him out of all people?
My eyes widened in realization as I gently pressed a hand against my chest, feeling how my heartbeat still hadn't slowed down.
Damn it.
Maybe I might actually be developing a small, tiny little crush on him-
But I could never let him know! Never!..
"Hyeji!"
I flinched when I heard my name being called by none other than him.He was already back? How long was I frozen in place?
I tried to act annoyed, but I found myself looking away again, crossing my arms.
"What?" I turned to look at him, hoping he did not see me suddenly shift to that posture.
Minho was panting slightly; it looked like he had run back here. Although he had a small smile on his lips: well, at least he wasn't chased back here.
"I found something... You'll love it" He said. I raised an eyebrow, tilting my head curiously at him.
"I.. actually have an idea of what it's called but I wanna surprise you," He said before walking toward me. Stepping in front of me, he held one of my hands. I felt my heart speed up again as I looked at our entwined hands and then back at him, confused.
"Come on-" He said, but I quickly pulled my hand away. His hand felt oddly soft- too soft and too warm. Too comforting. It wasn't supposed to feel like that.
"You- uh... you said I need to rest my leg" I said, scratching my nape a little as I moved my injured leg a bit. He crossed his arms as he listened to me, a small amused grin spreading across his face as he looked at my leg and then at my face.
"And you were still willing to go out" He made a point, but I rolled my eyes and turned my back to him before walking deeper into the cave.
"Yeah but my legs hurt, and I can't move much right? I need to rest ri-" Before I could finish that sentence, I felt him grab my hand, and then my leg; and before I knew it, he had me on his back- I cursed out in surprise immediately.
"Hey, what the fuck! Put me down!" I said, my cheeks turning red slightly as I looked down, eyes widened.
"Nope. I'm carrying you there" He said. I groaned lightly and pouted in response.
"This is basically kidnapping" I mumbled. He laughed a bit before shrugging slightly. "Well then, I'm taking revenge" He muttered in a more playful tone than serious.
I raised an eyebrow. "Revenge?" I questioned.
He said silent for a moment before humming. I noticed how a small smile formed on his lip before he spoke again."You stole something from me.. so I'm stealing you, fair deal" He muttered.
What did he mean by that?
I was about to question it, but before I could, he began walking and I had to stay quiet as I was a little skeptical about being dropped; though I doubted he would with the way he securely held me.
I decided to just stay quiet and let Minho take me to whatever place he was so sure of that I'd like; Who knows, maybe he would be right. Maybe I just might like it.
