The Kent family was sitting at the kitchen table trying to gather up the information that they had just been told by Clark. They understood why Clark was in shock about this discovery and how it was going to affect everyone around them.

"Morgan Edge is your brother?" Lois asked her husband

"There's no way, right?" Jon questioned in return

"He knew things about Krypton no one could possibly know, I mean he spoke the language plus he had Kryptonian powers, I don't know," Clark admitted with a sigh

"What does he want?" Jordan asked in return

"Kryptonians here and for me to join him," Clark spoke in a soft tone

"That's why he's putting Kryptonian consciousness into people," Lois added in support

"He wants Earth to become the next Krypton," Jordan suggested earning a nod

"I don't get it though, why did he think that you'd join him?" Kate questioned looking between her parents

"Because he can bring my Kryptonian mother back, our people," Clark explained some more

"Clark, before you go down the rabbit's hole here, don't you think you should find out if this is even actually true?" Lois questioned with a sigh

"I'm not gonna leave after Edge just sent someone to kill you, Kate, and Jonathan," Clark remarked to his wife

"Babe, half the DOD's on our front lawn and they are moving into town. Edge is not coming here go, we'll call you if we need you," Lois convinced some more

"Yeah, we'll be safe, dad," Kate spoke in a whisper

Kate and the boys had gone to the living room to calm down and talk, Jon and Kate were looking out the window at all the men outside of their house. Kate was mostly worried about how their father was taking this news more than she was about herself at this moment.

"How come every time it seems like things are gonna get better, something happens, and it's all just crazier than before?" Jordan questioned with a sigh

"Are you okay?" Kate asked looking at Jon

"I saw footage of what happened to Dad on John Henry's planet. He killed Mom or I mean her doppelganger or whatever," Jon admitted in a soft tone

"So?" Jordan asked in confusion

"So what if the Edge from that planet is also that Superman's brother? What if he brought back their mom and then gave him a Kryptonian family, and that's why he turned on humanity? What if that's what happened there and it's happening here too?" Jon rambled with questions

"It wouldn't change anything," Lois reminded her son

"Look, all I'm saying is going your whole life thinking that you're the only one left in your family, and then finding out that you had a brother that you never knew about and that you could see your mom? That would affect anyone," Jon stated looking at her

"Yeah, it would but the difference between Edge and your dad is that he has a family: The four of us, right here, we're his family. and no matter what happens, we always will be," Lois stated in comfort

Within sunrise, they had gotten Kyle and they had invited Lana and Marcus over so they could talk to her and comfort her. Kate was outside on the porch when she looked up to see Marcus walking out of the house, she scooted over on the steps so he could sit down next to her.

"I'm sorry for what my dad did," Marcus spoke causing her to chuckle

"That wasn't your dad, that was Edge," Kate explained in a soft tone

"Yeah but either way, my dad tried to kill my girlfriend," Marcus spoke in a daze causing her to look at him

"Girlfriend?" Kate questioned in amusement

"Katie Kent, will you be my girlfriend?" Marcus asked with a smile

"Like officially together?" Kate questioned in return

"Officially together," Marcus comforted the blonde

"Then yes, I'd love to be your girlfriend," Kate responded before they kissed

"Hurt my sister and I'll kill you," Jon warned as he and Jordan came out

"Ditto," Jordan added in support

"Don't listen to them, I won't let them hurt you," Kate explained to the boy

"I wasn't too worried," Marcus admitted in a whisper

"My grandfather and Superman are working to get your dad back," Kate admitted to her boyfriend

Marcus just nodded before pulling her hand into his, Kate rested her head on his shoulder before closing her eyes. Lois and Lana had come back shortly after with somber looks on their faces making Kate look at her mother with a nod confirming her thoughts.
