Lana and Kyle had decided to move out of Smallville which made Marcus upset since he didn't want to leave just because of judgemental people. Kate was cleaning up her breakfast while they talked about their plans to go over to the Cushings.

"It's just not safe with Edge still out there," Clark stated as he stood up

"We still go to school so how is Sarah's house any less safe?" Jordan pointed out

"Will her parents be home?" Lois asked her son

"I guess," Jordan suggested in return

"You guess or you know?" Lois questioned once again

"They're having another open house. I'm sure there'll be an adult somewhere," Kate reminded their parents

"Another open house, what?" Clark asked in confusion

"I'm just asking 'cause you and Sarah have gotten pretty serious lately," Lois pointed out with a sigh

"Mom, please we don't have to go over this for the billionth time," Jordan pleaded with a wince

"We just wanna make sure you're making responsible choices," Clark stated to his two kids

"Which is why I think you should take your brother with you," Lois stated before Jon scoffed

"No, no, no, I'm gonna take a pass on being a chaperone and also, I need to, you know, work on the hammer with John Henry," Jon explained to their parents

"You've been spending a lot of time with John Henry lately," Kate pointed out to her brother

"Okay, yeah, well, he's basically a genius that saved Dad's life twice, so, I mean, I think I could learn a lot from him, you know?" Jon asked the two

"We're just not that comfortable with you building those kinds of weapons," Clark admitted in a soft tone

"Okay, well, I mean, you can't have it both ways either Edge is a threat or he's not, I just wanna be prepared for when he shows up again," Jon remarked looking between the adults

"All right, you're making too much sense, you're excused," Clark stated before they nodded

"I'll go with Jordan seeing how I wanted to see Marcus," Kate explained to her parents

"Another discussion we wanna have," Clark reminded his daughter

Kate was in Marcus' room reading as he played on his phone next to her, Clark was downstairs trying to talk Lana out of moving and selling the house.

"We aren't moving," Marcus stated to the blonde

"I don't think that you have much say in whether or not you move," Kate pointed out to her boyfriend

"Then, I'll stay with my aunt and uncle here in town," Marcus deadpanned in return

"So, in other topics, I was thinking of maybe getting back on the cheer team," Kate admitted making him look at her

"Does that mean that I get to see you in the skirt again?" Marcus questioned causing her to roll her eyes

"In your dreams," Kate remarked with a chuckle

"Oh, you are in my dreams, alright," Marcus charmed to her

"Hey, Kate, we were going to go get something to eat, are you two down to go?" Jordan asked he walked into the room

They had declined in response before going back to watching their movie, after a couple of hours Kate had decided that it was best for her to head home since it was getting late. Jon and Jordan were dragged out of the party by their grandfather which resulted in them getting yelled at. Kate sat in the front seat of the car as their grandfather drove them back home.

"So how'd you find us?" Jon asked the older man

"I run the DOD, do you think I can't track down my own grandsons?" Sam questioned the boys

"Watch out!" Jordan shouted before they started flipping

"Jon, do you have your ELT?" Kate asked her brother once she caught her breath

"It got knocked out of my hand when we crashed," Jon responded out of breath

"What are you guys talking about?" Sarah asked in confusion

"There's a pistol in the glove compartment loaded with kryptonite, I need one of you boys to come up here and get it," Sam directed before Jon started to sit up

"Jon, your arm," Jordan called out

"My left is just as good, He's just standing there," Jon commented as he cocked the gun

"Okay, try to keep your hand steady and you're only gonna get one shot at this and once you got him, pull the trigger," Sam directed his grandson

"Did you get him? Do you get him?" Kate asked looking at him

"I don't know, he flew away," Jon responded to his sister

"Flew away where?" Sarah questioned the blonde

"Jordan!" Kate shouted as Edge took him 

"No! Sarah, let us out," Jon directed the girl

"Edge took him and there was nothing that he could do," Sarah whined before running to get help

"Grandpa. Grandpa, are you okay?" Kate asked the older man

"Worry about me later, find that ELT," Sam directed them

"Dad!" Jon yelled once they called him

"Jonathan, Kate, what happened? Are you okay?" Clark questioned looking between the two

"Edge took Jordan," Kate stated to their father

"What?" Clark asked in confusion

"You need to find him, Go!" Jon shouted in urgency

Clark flew off to go look for Jordan, Jon had pulled Kate into a hug as she was still crying from Jordan being taken but Edge. She had some cuts on her head from the glass but she swore up and down that it wasn't effecting her.
