Clark was arrested by the D.O.D which made Lois worried given the charges, Kate, Jon, and Jordan were told to work out whatever was going on between them but Kate was just fine ignoring Jon a bit longer as she wanted. Kate was walking down the hallway with Marcus at school and just joking around with him.

"Sorry, I missed your game last night," Marcus spoke in a soft tone

"It's okay, you needed some time to yourself and I don't hold that against you," Kate reminded her boyfriend

"Okay that is true but I do feel bad about how I blew you off about hanging out after school," Marcus admitted taking her hands

"It did hurt my feelings at first but then I understood that you were having a tough time," Kate admitted as well

"Dad had officially moved out last night," Marcus spoke making her look at him

"How are you holding up?" Kate asked with concern

"It's so weird seeing the house so empty from his things," Marcus explained in a soft tone

"Have you talked to him any?" Kate questioned looking up at him

"Not since the night of the party," Marcus responded making her nod

"Well, no matter what you decide to do next, I'll be here every step along the way," Kate comforted before kissing his cheek

"Everyone, I need you to step away from your lockers," A police officer spoke as they came in

"It's for the X-K," Kate guessed with a deep breath

"And they just picked up on Jon," Marcus spoke before Kate followed them along with Jordan

Kate and Jordan had walked inside the house as their mother was yelling at Jon for the X-K, where Jon had explained the situation before they were all sent upstairs until further notice. Kate and Jordan had walked to Jon's room to ask him so more about the X-K and where it came from.

"What? Is that you're supplier freaking out?" Kate asked as Jon's phone buzzed

"Well, we weren't the ones selling drugs to the football team," Jordan added in support

"Hey, hey, for the last time, okay, I was not selling drugs," Jon seethed to the two

"Okay, then why'd you have that bag full of vials?" Kate questioned once again

"Look, I thought that I could get rid of it, and I thought that if I got caught, it wasn't a big deal and I thought I'd be in a little trouble," Jon admitted to them

"A little trouble? Come on, was it someone on the team? Was it Wellnitz? It was Wellnitz," Jordan accused to his twin

"I don't know why you'd get in all this trouble if it was someone else's, though," Kate commented to her brother

"Look, I made a dumb decision, you were right, I'm a terrible brother and can you please just leave me alone?" Jon ranted before shutting his door

"Well, now I feel bad," Kate commented with a sigh

Kate went to her room for the time being, she had started a new book to read as they were bound to their rooms. Lois had another talk to Jon about who he was holding the X-K for but he wasn't going to say anything about where he got it from. Clark was released a couple of hours later after bringing Tal back to the cell, Kate walked down to the kitchen where Clark was and hugged him.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Jon and the X-K," Kate spoke in a soft tone

"It's okay, you just wanted to protect your brother," Clark whispered as he pulled away

"Don't go too hard on Jon since he's just trying to protect his friend and you taught us that trust is more important than self-preserve," Kate convinced with a soft tone

"Sometimes I hate how much you are like me," Clark joked making Kate laugh

"I love you," Kate whispered to her father

"I love you too, Lynn," Clark whispered in response

"I'm really happy that you are back," Kate admitted before heading to bed
