The Kent family was eating breakfast after Clark had told Lana that he was Superman and Clark and Lois were explaining to the kids what her reaction was. She was worried about whether Lana had told Marcus or Sarah that she should expect a breakup when she went to school today.

"You guys are not telling us the full story," Kate called out to her parents

"All right, there's no way that you told Mrs. Cushing that you're Superman, and then she just drove away, that's insane," Jordan stated in support

"That's what she did," Clark stated to his kids

"We knew she would be hurt," Lois pointed out to the man

"Didn't know she'd be that hurt," Clark stated with a sigh

"I kind of knew," Lois commented to her husband

"What was she like at the end? Like, do you think she's gonna tell Sarah?" Jordan rambled out questions

"Or Marcus?" Kate added in question

"Did you even ask?" Jordan questioned making Clark pinch his temple

"Jordan, Kate, leave your father alone and Jonathan, where is your backpack? You're going to be late for school," Lois scolded the teens

"I still can't even believe you're making us go to school," Jon scolded their mother

"Of course, you have to go to school, we are lucky Principal Balcomb even accepted you back, and side note, as long as the other you are still locked up, you are technically safer than anyone else," Lois explained to the boy

"What does that even mean, I'm technically safer than anyone else?" Jon questioned out of context

"Your doppelganger was Ally's first horseman but I doubt he'll be her last," Clark admitted looking up

"Well, then maybe we should stay home, you know, in case you guys need our help," Jordan suggested to the grown-ups

"Well, if we need your help, then we'll know exactly where to find you, won't we? Let's go," Clark stated before the teens walked out

Kate ended up skipping school with Jon, Jordan, and Nat which led them to go down to the tunnels and dig for extra X-K. Jon had stopped digging before stepping back so Nat could collect the the X-K that had broken loose.

"It's getting pretty late and if we don't get home soon, Mom and Dad are gonna start texting us," Jordan warned looking at his phone

"Yeah, how much more do we need?" Jon questioned the girl

"More than this, I wish we had my Dad's rock-grinder thingy," Nat grumbled to the group

"Let me guess, another awesome invention?" Kate remarked to the girl

"Jeez, you guys sure do make being smart cool and I have an idea, step back," Jordan stated using heat vision to cut it out

"Screw smart, I'd rather have powers," Jon stated after Jordan stepped back

"Um, guys? It's gonna cave in," Kate warned before they all ran

"I mean, not to bum you out, but if Sarah ever sees you do that, you guys are getting back together," Nat remarked to Jordan

"Yeah!" Jon cheered with the girl

"You think so?" Jordan asked with a smile

"Wait, guys where's the bag of X-K?" Nat asked looking around

Kate had gone back home after Nat decided to call it quits for looking, Kate was sitting on her bed reading when she heard a tap on her window making her sit up and open it to let Marcus in since he was the only one who come to her window.

"I didn't see you at school today and was worried," Marcus stated as he came in

"I ditched with the boys and Nat," Kate explained to her boyfriend

"School sucked without you though," Marcus remarked causing her to roll her eyes

"I never asked how your mom was," Kate reminded the boy

"She's okay, she went on a walk and lost track of time but how was your day with the boys and Nat?" Marcus asked in response

"It was nice and we started to bond like we used to," Kate spoke with a smile

"Well, I love seeing that smile on your face," Marcus commented cupping her face

"I love you," Kate whispered before kissing him

"I love you, too," Marcus mumbled once they pulled away

Marcus picked up her book and started to read it causing her to reach up and try to grab it, he pulled her down on top of him making her let out a small giggle before he started reading her book to her.
